Absolutely the worst service department! Take my advice and choose another GM dealership for any service work!!!
This review isn’t about the dealership but it’s about the service center I have never been to a mechanic where my car was worst after taking it to them then before I took it! They charged me 1222.00 to fix my car and as soon as I drive it home the car almost catches on fire! Then I had to get it towed back to them and now they want me to pay more money when they messed it up more!I will never come here again and I don’t recommend anybody to go
I took my mother's 2017 Equinox for a Virginia state inspection, as it is free if you bought the car there. We had a 1:00 pm appointment time. we arrived about 12:50 pm, and the car was not taken in until 2:25 pm. About 20 minutes later a service representative came and told me in order to pass inspection we would need to replace both windshield wipers at a cost of $35.00 each. I agreed to this and the total came to $88.41. I had more of a problem with the waiting time than I did with the cost of the wiper blades. I was called the day before to confirm my 1:00 pm appointment. This is an extremely unacceptable wait time for a state inspection that only takes 30 minutes at the most. I understand the mechanics have other vehicles. I was told that my 1:00 pm appointment was a check-in time, and I was there before that. Being former military when I am told to be at a place at a specific time that is where I am, that is the purpose of making an appointment. This is no reflection on the service members who made the appointment, nor the gentleman who assisted me, and I let him know it was not directed towards him. The service department management team needs to do a better job with assisting customers when they bring their vehicles in for service, mechanical work, state inspection or other service. A state inspection is needed throughout the year, so it's no surprise that this is a request from day to day. DeLarris C. Powell
