What Others Say

Yes one can purchase a sled from them, or any wolkswagen dealer, service can’t be compared to services offered im Deutsche land. I would suggest seeking service elsewhere. Ex. No nitrogen for tires, no taxi service , and they don’t pick your car up from your house and return it . Let just say , one could run out of gas in front of there dealer and they wouldn’t care. We purchased a 23 Tiguan 3 months ago there, being assured the service that would come with the car, but I’m forced to look elsewhere for service. Ferti. Gonzalez

This is my second time purchasing at this dealership and both experiences have been absolutely perfect. Friendly and prompt service. This is my second time having Tara as my sales rep and she did not disappoint either time. Dustin was easy to talk to and knowledgeable. I will definitely return in the future.

My recent experience at Volkswagen Salem left me deeply disappointed and frustrated, especially considering my history of doing business with them. On the same day, I purchased a brand 2023 car and a preowned 2001 Volkswagen Passat in gray. Unfortunately, the dealership's handling of both transactions and the subsequent customer service were far from satisfactory. Firstly, during the purchase of the Volkswagen Passat, I noticed a strange odor in the interior and the check engine light was on. Despite my reservations, I was assured that the issues would be addressed-the car would be detailed, and the dashboard light was a minor concern. I also inquired about a potential discount for purchasing two vehicles in one day and being a repeat customer. To my surprise, the manager's response was dismissive, stating that offering me coffee was their version of a "deal".Subsequently, I brought the Passat back for detailing due to the lingering pet smell. During this time, my sister expressed interest in buying a car as well. We made arrangements to return the next day to finalize her purchase. However, upon my car's return, it was evident that it had not been properly cleaned. I was infuriated by the dealership's lack of honesty. Moreover, the check engine light came back on, and I was told it was due to the gear shifter. This further eroded my trust in the vehicle's condition, and I decided not to keep it. I attempted to return the car, but NJ law was not on my side, leading to a significant financial loss when I sold it back to the dealership, including the down payment I had made. The whole experience was marked by poor communication, unfulfilled promises, and a lack of customer-centricity. I couldn't help but feel undervalued as a customer with a history of purchases at this dealership. It's disappointing to think about the potential business they lost due to their treatment of loyal customers. I hope that the owner of Volkswagen Salem takes a closer look at their customer service practices and realizes the opportunities they missed in retaining a satisfied customer and gaining referrals. My trust in this dealership has been shattered, and I will be exploring other options for my future automotive needs.

Horrible do not buy anything From them . They stand by nothing !!! I should have listened to reviews from the start . 100% accurate service is horrible

Do not buy a car from here !!!! Do not !!! They do not stand by their cars ! Now I’m stuck with junk they will not stand by vehicle

I bought a car from them which had aftermarket modifications done which they failed to disclose to me. Now it’s going to cost me over $1300 to have corrected and they refuse to help in any way. Had I been made aware of these modifications I would not have bought the car. Stereo typical car dealership from my experience, do and say whatever to get the sale then once you pull off the lot you are on your own.
