What Others Say

The integrity of the employees of this dealership is to be questioned. Extremely displeased. If you can USE ANY OTHER DEALERSHIP DO IT

My Service Advisor Chris Martin was outstanding! Chris worked with me to ensure I fully understood all the major issues with my 2013 CC. He and his team did a full inspection of my car and did not make me feel pressured at any step of the service. Chris knew my car held sentimental value and treated the entire transaction with me with a respect and sincere care. He even found discounts for some parts of the service. I am now a loyal patron and will take my baby back to Stone Mountain VW for the life of my car… she now runs like new🙏💛. Thanks, Chris and your Service team for a job well

I bought my VW Tiguan which is still under warranty, due to 2-code errors, I was never greeted walking in, no-one at the service center looks up at you, pretending to be busy in their Computer's, after waiting 10mins or so I had to ask for help, & was told give us a minute, a minute turned into 5, once someone helped me, they ask if I could leave my Vehicle over night? Because they are really busy!Long story short, I had to take my vehicle back 3- times for the same problem & still have the same codes,( not fixed) now I'm getting the run away for help! I rate this service dept -60.. horrible service! I don't suggest anyone take the vehicle there!!! Be AWARE

My sales person, Lloyd was really easy to work with. The manager David did the old hardball song and dance, but we all ended where we wanted to be. The finance person, Kurt, was really friendly and didn't pressue the upsells too much. What I really liked is they didn't try to drag things out like some dealerships. Unfortunately, I did have to immediately work with the service team because of an inssue in my new car, but they were amazing, got my car done a day early and offered me a loner. I felt really good about it. My only complaint is I am pretty sure when they sold me the car they included a bumper guard and they didn't put it on the car. Otherwise my only knock is against VW for not having more aggressive financing options on new cars to compete with other makes in their price point.

Extremely Displeased with Stone Mountain VW I recently purchased a 2011 Jetta TDI from Stone Mountain VW, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. The car, supposedly thoroughly inspected by their technician before sale, has multiple critical issues. Firstly, the timing belt urgently needs replacement—a critical component that should be addressed every 10 years, a basic knowledge that seems to have been "missed" by the dealer during their inspection. The consequences of neglecting this maintenance could lead to severe engine damage, putting my safety at risk. To exacerbate matters, the local VW dealer quoted an astonishing $2,000 for the timing belt replacement, making Stone Mountain VW's oversight even more egregious. To compound matters, I've already had to spend an additional $125 out of pocket to have the tires rebalanced, a cost that should not have been my responsibility. Moreover, the AC is non-functional, making for an uncomfortable driving experience. The alignment is off, and the tires were not balanced properly, causing violent shaking during a 12-hour drive back home. Adding to my frustration, the engine thermostat is malfunctioning. The local VW dealer has quoted $1,000 for its replacement, compounding the financial burden caused by Stone Mountain VW's lack of diligence. To add insult to injury, Stone Mountain VW had promised a powertrain warranty, but shockingly, they refuse to honor it. Despite my attempts to address these issues, engaging in a week-long back-and-forth with Stone Mountain VW, their response was disheartening—they claimed their technician checked the car thoroughly, yet they offered no solution or assistance. Flying in from Arkansas to pick up this car has been a regrettable decision. The lack of accountability and resolution from Stone Mountain VW, coupled with the failure to honor their promised powertrain warranty, the unexpected $125 expense for tire rebalancing, and the staggering local quotes for essential repairs, has left me extremely dissatisfied. I would strongly caution anyone considering their services to think twice before making a purchase.

Stone Mountain VW has been my dealership for over 10 years. Their customer service is excellent and I always have a great experience working with them. I don’t think I would ever buy a car anywhere else. I lived abroad for a year and recently returned in need of a car. Jessie took great care of me and I left with a beautiful Tiguan! Thank you!
