I purchased a 2021 Chevy Tahoe from Centennial Toyota, and within 30 days the transmission failed. Reverse gear stopped working completely. A failure this serious does not develop in a few weeks of normal use — it points to a pre‑existing defect that should have been caught during the dealership’s inspection. Nevada law (NRS 482) requires licensed dealers to sell vehicles that are safe, operable, and meet basic standards of merchantability at the time of sale. A transmission failure in the first month clearly does not meet that standard. When I contacted the dealership, I was directed to James, the Service Director. Instead of taking responsibility for selling a vehicle with a major, discoverable defect, he offered to cover only half of the repair cost — essentially asking me to pay thousands of dollars to fix a problem that existed before I ever took possession of the vehicle. To make matters worse, the dealership refused to provide the transmission diagnostic report, mechanic’s notes, repair estimate, or any documentation from their inspection. These are standard documents any customer should receive, and withholding them raises serious concerns about transparency. Centennial Toyota sold me a vehicle with a major mechanical failure waiting to happen, then tried to shift the burden back onto me. Based on my experience, this dealership does not meet Nevada’s legal obligations or basic ethical standards.

I bought a car. The first scheduled maintenance is supposed to be free. I bought at a different Toyota dealership so I called to make sure they would honor it. I got there and they tried to sell me package after package. I declined everything and suddenly they need to talk to the manager, the director, blah, blah, blah. In short, they wouldn’t honor it which isn’t surprising. These people are dirtbags and I knew they would live up to that reputation. Go somewhere else.

if I could give 0 stars I would I mean the experience with this dealership is beyond frustrating and you would think a dealership this well known wouldn’t have this issue. first off I bought this tundra 2023 in March 18 2025 everything was fine with the truck and then now 11 months later I saw on the news that all models 2022-2023 needs to change the engine motor and so I went even though they didn’t send me anything that it needed to be changed so I was afraid to drive the car and so I went and they said I could change it and I would need to drop it off for a few days everything was fine and I left it there for four days and I was excited to get my car back and I didn’t notice anything at first but then when I reversed right or left it was a big noise I thought I hit something but it was the inner fender liner was lifted and the tire was rubbing and hitting it every time I reversed. I went straight to Toyota and they told me there was nothing they could do and I explained that the noise wasn’t there before I left it there and I spoke to jorge bothe the service advisor and he got the service manager joshua Bullard and I explained to him the situation and he said that they wouldn’t check and wouldn’t do anything because the tires are too big so I left frustrated and dissatisfied because the problem wasn’t fixed at all they just refused to acknowledge the problem. Later in the day I drove the car again and I had the same problem this time I had other people in the car that heard it too because it isn’t a small noise or bump. I went back and this time with other people as my witness and joshua was still insisting that there was nothing to be fixed he didn’t even try to look at it or even take accountability for what the person who fixed it messed it up who is Bernard Arreola the mechanic and he said it was like that before. We told the manager when we left we would have proof and seek legal action and I was like do you think I would drive a car with a noise that big I literally got my tires done January 12 2026 with discount tire and everything was fine and joshua said that 95% of people do have the tires rubbing the inner fender lining and that it was like that before and it’s disrespectful he accused me of lying and grouped into a percentage of people when he doesn’t even know me and I suffer from anxiety so when I left I was very anxious and had to take my pills to calm myself down. I went to a parking lot and stood outside of the car and had my husband reverse the car and that’s when I finally saw that the problem was that the tire was rubbing the inner fender liner and I took video and photos and I went back to the Toyota and showed the video to jorge bothe and to joshua bullard and joshua said it was because of the tires not because they messed it up so I said I was going to discount tire to find out if the tires are good for the truck and I will get a letter to take it to the lawyer. I will go to a lawyer and I will never go back and I don’t recommend anyone to go to Toyota Centennial

Had a fantastic experience Jay Cisneros sold me a used Hyundai I would highly recommend him ! All questions answered and made the transaction simple and correct ! I will be telling my friends and family to see him when they need a vehicle .
