What Others Say
I had a wonderful experience with this dealership with the purchase of my Civic Hybid. Chris was reasonable and worked great in making a deal on my car and trade in. Sherri was there for the follow up and delivery, I drove 1 hour and a half for this deal and it was worth it!
This is an extremely shady dealership. We drove 3+ hours after days of phone calls discussing purchasing a used van. They refused to talk negotiations over the phone but ensured us multiple times we could speak more in depth about pricing and negotiate once we were in person. Only to drive down and them not being willing to budge on price a single cent. A waste of time, gas, PTO off work, and forcing our toddler to be in the car for a 6+ hour round trip. We even put down a deposit on the car we were looking at before making the trip and then they held our deposit for about 48 hours until after we left. Lastly, as we were leaving there magically happened to be another "family" that was interested in the exact van we were looking at as we were pulling out of the parking lot. Absolutely hilarious. I have lodged my complaints to the GM and received no response.
First off I would like to say Eric is a great salesperson and I have zero negative to say about his customer service.
I purchased a low mileage used car here about a month ago. It had a paint blemish due to a PDR person that didn't know what they were doing. I was assured the car would be fixed. It now looks way worse after their "fix" than before. I had to refuse the work twice, and on the third time there are still runs, sanding marks, uneven paint, and trash in the clear. My car now looks like it has a salvage title due to cheap, unprofessional, shoddy paint work. I went from being excited about my new car to so disgusted that I am either going to spend money out of my own pocket to fix it or take a loss to trade it in. Sales may be great but the service department is extremely lacking.
I stopped by the Service department today to get the batteries in my key FOBs replaced and had the pleasure of meeting Louis. He replaced the batteries with a speed and expertise that was quite impressive. I told him I was having issues with the trunk release on my Accord, and he immediately figured out the remedy. Louis came out to my car and showed me the button in the glove compartment that was causing the problem. He completed all of this in record time and was so pleasant, not to mention having a great sense of humor! I will be returning when I am ready for my next Honda!
Review of Honda Huntersville (Used Vehicle Purchase Experience)
I purchased an older truck “as is” from Honda Huntersville, paying retail price, and unfortunately faced over $3,000 in repairs soon after. The vehicle sat for about a week post-purchase and was driven approximately 50 miles before major problems arose. I suspect the dealership’s technicians knew about these issues while the truck was on their lot, which raises serious concerns about the transparency and honesty of the dealership.
While buying “as is” is ultimately the buyer’s responsibility, I expected the dealership to ensure the vehicle was at least retail-ready given the price paid. I strongly recommend anyone interested in used vehicles here get a trusted independent mechanic to inspect the vehicle before buying. Save yourself the time, expense, and frustration I experienced.
Buyer beware.
I recently purchased a 2025 Honda CRV, and overall it was a great experience. My salesman Alex Cox was absolutely excellent, friendly, professional and communicated with me every step of the way. He made the process smooth and stress-free, which I really appreciated. I did have a small issue initially regarding a missing key, manual and floor matts. When I spoke with the manager about it, the interaction wasn't as pleasant as I'd hoped, he came across as a bit rude. However, in the end, the dealership made things right and provided everything I requested. Thanks to my salesman's outstanding customer service and follow through, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recomment Honda of Huntersville overall.
