What Others Say

I highly recommend Winter Haven Honda! It is the best dealership that I have ever been involved with! I purchased a used vehicle "As is.” This being said, the dealership stood behind the vehicle and repaired an issue that costed more than $2,000 AT NO COST TO ME!!! I can't say enough about Winter Haven Honda. If I could give the dealership more than five stars, I would! I also highly recommend salesman Robert Smith and JR in the service department! Both gentlemen were great to work with. I would definitely contact Robert Smith and JR for your vehicle needs!!! I can't say enough about Winter Haven Honda, Robert Smith and JR!!! Great service and they stand behind the vehicles that they sell!!!

James was an excellent sales rep. He got me the price I wanted and the trade value I wanted from my 2016 BMW. Other Honda dealers were $4,000 below the trade value James got for me. And he completed the whole deal on the phone and online. Spent about 90 minutes signing paperwork and getting familiar with my new CR~V Hybrid Sport Touring. Loved the experience, Highly recommend James and this dealership. Steve who closed the deal and paperwork was great too.

We purchased a 2024 Honda Odyssey from Napoleon Burley. He went above and beyond to help with the trade in of a 2019 Blazer Premier and answered all our questions and concerns. We had the best experience with dealing with this business and Sales Rep in many years. Thank You! We love our new Odyssey.

The compressor on my Honda locked up. I'm a HVAC mech so I knew what was wrong. The service advisor told me I to pay the $100+ diagnostic charge. He told me they found my compressor was locked up and needed a new one. After the was replaced the next day I had no AC. I made another appointment. He called to say they need to purge my system. A few hours later he called to ask if I had any problems with my power steering I told him "Never". He said that while my car was up on the lift they discovered that my power steering pump was 'shot' and I needed a new one. It had mysteriously gone bad while on the lift. I paid for a new one. After that was replaced I still had no AC. Another visit I told him that my power steering reservoir oil was bouncing when the car was running. He said that was normal. He said I now needed a new condenser coil for my AC. because it was clogged and they could not back flush it. I paid for a new on.e After $3200 my A/C was finally working again. 3 weeks later my pump started to growl and the steering fluid bubble out of the top. I made an appointment and after they checked they said they could not find anything. To bring it in the next time it did it. A few days later it did the same thing. I didn't turn it off and took it to Honda. My regular advisor was not there so I talked to another one. After they checked my car they said the Return pump hose had a leak in the rubber to metal crimp connection. Since it wasn't like that when I brought it in it would be replaced under warranty and no charges. He said he would have to order that hose and he would call me when it was in. When I went to leave I got almost to Cypress Blvd and had no brakes. I limped back to the service bay using the emergency brake. The advisor told me that he thought that my peddle seemed little soft when he pulled it around. He went out and found my brake fluid cup was almost empty. He added fluid and before he could get in and press on my pedal the fluid was on the ground. He looked under the car and said my metal brake lines were leaking. I told him I had no problem when I got there. Another mystery. I said that something must have happened coming out of the service bay or when they took it in. If there was oil in the bay it happened after they took it in. If not then it happened when they took it out and no one said anything about it. The advisor didn't say anything until I almost had gotten onto the highway. I waited inside for the service department to look at it. They said that is was just a coincidence that my line burst as I was leaving the dealership. They had to order new lines. They took me home again and later when he called he told me it would be $2,300 to replace my brake lines. Instead of snaking the old and new lines in and out they would have to drop my Rack and Pinion to replace the lines. That would take another day to order and make the repair. He also said that they would charge me to replace the power steering hose after the precious advisor told me there would be no charge. I'm still waiting for a decision on that and for them to let me know when my car is done after my 5th visit. As long as nothing else mysteriously breaks down I'll only need to check my power steering pump once a week and be very careful every time I come to a red light to be sure I am able to stop.

The w/o increased by $13 from initially specified total, allegedly for “supplies” and "maintenance of the service department." Master consultant was polite at first, but at the end, when he explained the bill, he began to be rude, claiming that "it's like that everywhere." The car was given out dirty, with greasy fingerprints on the windshield, and they were quite surprised when I asked to wipe off the glass. It was the worst service experience in my entire life. “Zero” on NPS scale.

This is what business is supposed to be like! Winter Haven Honda gave me a good competitive deal on a 2019 Ford Expedition they had advertised. They, made it a quick and painless transaction. The salesman, Moose (Mustapha Gawad), was exceptional and went above and beyond. Here’s why: Within minutes of my inquiry over the Internet, Moose was on FaceTime showing me every detail, including minor imperfections, the car history/Carfax, etc. He wrote up the Out-the-Door proposal to show me all costs…and within two days I was on a plane to pick up the vehicle. The Dealership picked me up with their own driver at no cost to me. When I arrived, the vehicle was everything portrayed, and again Moose and The Dealership were expeditious. I asked if Moose could track down the extra key FOB from the previous owner, since it was not turned in when it was sold to the Dealership. Moose personally engaged the previous owner and not only obtained the extra key FOB, but obtained some other extras as well from the previous owner, and sent all this to me in the mail. Fantastic…go-beyond engagement from Moose! In today’s upside down world, full of slouchy service with more and more people who simply don’t care, here is an outstanding example of the way every customer wants to be treated….that is with respect, courteousness, quickness, honesty, getting a fair deal, and, actually doing things above and beyond what the customer expects. This is what Moose and Winter Haven Honda Delivered. Thank you Moose and Winter Haven Honda.
