I’m posting this review to warn other potential customers. I was trying to set up an internet deal to avoid walk in to dealer and spending few hours to get to the correct price, but internet Sales person kept skipping the written quote and kept asking me to stop by at the dealer in order to get the aggressive deal. So when I stopped by, the number they put in front of me was completely different what they said verbally and even worse than the other Honda dealers. When I told them I got better price from the other Honda dealers the internet sales manger started being so rude and using unprofessional words like "No one can bit my price" and "If you find any better price I would change my name to Roghiyeh (which is very old fashion female name)" and when I got disappointed from his words he said your face look angry and better leave and was trying to give me a handshake which means bye. He was super rude person with zero customer service knowledge. So I left that local dealership and drove 15 minutes further to another Honda dealer and I got the exact deal that they promised with no issue or waisting my time, I wish I would stop by at that dealer from beginning instead of Norm Reeves Honda at Irvine. When I talked to my colleague I realized that he experienced the same exact scenario and met the same person and the same sales manager at that dealership and he left the dealership without purchasing, that means their strategy is to offer you aggressive deal if you stop by at their dealer ship and make you tired after few hours back and forte then taking advantage of being tired and making wrong decision to sign their paperwork. Not a pleasant experience at all and I got frustrated from the way that guy was talking to me. He said his is working 30+ years in this field and I am really sorry for that dealership owner who is missing a loosing a lot of business because of deploying that rude person with zero customer service.
I took my 2020 Honda Civic for service And recall item. They claimed the air conditioner was not working.. Totally misrepresented the whole job.Totally disgusted with the whole service Dept.
AC was blowing warm and 2 of the 3 components were given extended warranty, my luck the apparently not covered component was faulty , after calling the Norm Reeves store I purchased the vehicle at to make sure it wasn’t covered , Nathaniel worked with the store I bought the car to supply all needed info and lo and behold a 2,000 job now only costs me my 50,00 deductible I give kudos to both of these Norm Reeves stores to save a customer 2,000.00
I don’t want to say that I had a good experience from this dealership. I visited this pleace after I called them and they said they will be able to help me with trade-in my leased vehicle even though my contract didnt get ended. I purchased Honda CRV and seemed like they gave me a good deal at the beginning. However, they played around with interest rate (8.99% for 5 years). This rate was crazy when honda website says there is 4.9% interest rate promotion. They offered me 4.9% after I purchase extended warranty which made me to pay extra thousand dollars. Here is the worst part. After I signed, they didnt take my leased car. They told me that they thought I was going to do early return which made me to pay about 10k to return. Why would I pay that money and return my old leased car early? I would rather just keep that leased car until my leased car ends. They kept saying there was miscommunication but I didnt trust that. It was my fault that I didnt check before I signed but I felt that they played around with me. They offered me about 3 thousand dollars less than Kelly Blue Book for my trade-in vehicle. And finally I ended up paying about 3 thousand dollars more to ask them to trade-in my vehicle because I didnt have any choice. They kept saying they tried their best to help but finally, I am the ONLY one who needed to pay about 6 thousand extra dollars more than I expected at the beginning. Yep it is my fault that I didnt check before I signed and make sure everything is correct. I learned the lesson. I trusted them too much. Please do not trust them. Very crazy that they are able to play around with interest rates and my leased car. Should have walked away……… Very disappointed and stressful. I could not even sleep well for 3 days because I was SO MAD. Thank you so much for giving me this kind of experience in my life. The worst experience.
Rude, deceptive and mean sales personnel. Prices thousands of dollars higher than reputable dealerships in Southern California. Do not waste your time here. If you request a price quote online, they will not send one, or send one way over MSRP. Norm Reeves must roll over in his grave each time they chase away a new customer. Norm Reeves Irvine is a disgrace to the entire Honda family. They despise their customers. Avoid any sales person with a 3 letter first name.
Complete rip-off, con artists. We bought a 2018 Honda Pilot new and the transmission went out at 60,000 miles. We called the dealer and they said that it wasn't under warranty. We paid $9500.00 to have a rebuilt transmission put in. Then after doing a bit of research and looking back at our contract, the vin number didn't match the car. The contract also showed that the cars transmission was covered under an extended warranty that we paid extra for. They admitted being wrong telling us it would be taken care of. So we got a $9500.00 credit towards a new car. I had to leave town for a family emergency and told them that my wife was coming in. The sales manager told me that he would make sure that my wife taken care of. Well they took care of her alright, we now have 6 years of an $869.00 payment on a $48,000 dollar car. They got her for every little penny that they could. I get that they are salesmen, but this is ridiculous. A complete, unfair, rip-off. Completely taking advantage of my wife. If you are looking for a new car, steer away from any Norm Reeves and I guarentee another dealership will take much better care of you. Now I hear from other people including people at other Honda dealerships along with a couple of different mechanics that Norm Reeves has a really bad reputation when it comes to the way they work with customers. Steer clear....very clear. You have bern warned.
