I hd my car in roughly 4 months ago for losing acceleration. I was promised it would never happen again and if it did it was covered under warrantee. I lost excleration and the wrench came on and then the engine warning light. I immediately contacted the service team and was assured it would be handled. A week went by t=with no effort to contact me or give any sort of update. I finally called and to say the least I raised my voice over the lack of service. Promised it back COM monday. They delivered as promised but charged me 2k saying that a radiator hose had leaked on a sensor and once the fluid evaperated off the system reset. The games that are played to avoid keeping the promise I was given by Jason. Mike was absent in the responsibility to keep the customer informed. So here I am on the road and its happening again in less than a week. Not sure that I would trust them to boil a pot of water!! Adding insult to injury they charge you 3% if you use your credit card.
Dropped my F150 off two separate times in a little over six weeks for service for a loss in motor power. The service department charged us almost a $1000 for the first visit. Said they could not replicate the problem so therefore there was no repair to do under there policy in the 2nd visit. Third dropoff was by tow truck and we were told the truck needs a new motor. Incompetent is the least of this. Oh, and the service manager said, he does not care what motor it is, it should not last more than 100,000 miles!!
I have bought several vehicles from Town and Country Ford and use their service department. I have always had great professional service and and sales from them. Maverick Sweat, Jeff Bianchi, Chad Stoops, and Bob McQuinn are all professional and just great to deal with. Jason Larkin in service has always taken care of my service needs promptly. Worth the drive to Madison from Gallatin for the better deals and much better service.
Con artists and price gouging. Wish we could go negative on stars. So i stopped by 11/30 to ask a couple simple questions. The gentlemen speaking to me was rude and seemed like he had no interest or care for the questions i asked. Where this gets bad is the wait went form end of day to 2 days. Then i asked hay how much would you charge to check my transmission fluid and add some if needed. The Quote $220 to check plus whatever fluid used if insane, further illustrating my point. I am currently looking for a new vehicle and this would have been a great step for sales for them. Some may ask why dont you check your own fluid. I have a f150 4x4. It is not can i check it. I do not have a way to transfer fluid to the transmission. I have the full intent to contact TN Consumer Affairs for the price gouging issue.
I’d stay as far away from this dealership as possible this place price gouges and screws customers out of money. They misdiagnose and expect you to pay for their misdiagnosing. They charge triple labor on repairs for diesels.
John Hartley meet me and was very helpful. I knew the type of car I wanted. He knew they had it. He led me to the car and it was exactly what I wanted. That's the fun part normally, but the time spent filling out the papers, signing papers etc was a pleasant experience as well. Lots of fun conversation mingled with laughter as we chatted. No shortage of coffee either. Overall, a very pleasant car buying experience. Thank you John, and the others within the sales department that played a role in belong me with the purchase.
