What Others Say
I have to say that buying our new 4x4 Jeep Compass Latitude LUX at Delhi auto in Butler was one of the best and easiest car buying experiences my wife and I have had. Jack is a great salesman, and very knowledgeable and competent at his job. He was able to answer all of our questions and give solid insight into the features of the Jeep. Furthermore, it was also a pleasure and a quick easy experience working with the finance manager. He was able to give us a really great rate and deal on our new vehicle. I would recommend Deihl auto in Butler highly if you're looking to trade in and/or get a new vehicle!
I worked with Greg Gallagher and Dave Ranch Dressing. They were amazing. I contacted the dealership about a 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness in Bulter PA. I was coming from NH and needed to get as much worked out as possible before making the trip. Greg was responsive via text, worked with me on the vehicle we were looking to purchase. Greg worked with me on the price of my trade and we got all numbers worked out before I made the 10 hour trip. Greg helped me choose a local hotel to stay the night and was excellent to chat with. I arrived at the dealership at the time of my appointment and was greeted by Greg immediately. Greg walked me out to the car and we looked it all over. Greg gave my truck key to his appraiser and we took the Subaru for a ride. When we arrived back at the dealership I was greeted by the finance manager who was also excellent to deal with. I was extremely stressed about the process because I was afraid the numbers were going to change, the price of the car would some how be different etc... However this experience was like no other car purchase I have ever made. The team at Diehl CDJR was awesome. Not only did the numbers stay the same but they needed to give me more for my truck than originally anticipated because of some out of state fees that didn't get put on to the additional paperwork. I was not charged a dollar more than we agreed even though there were more fees required. Additionally, the dealership setup all of the paperwork to process my NH registration so that we didn't have to deal with that process. After everything was said and done we parted ways. The next morning I received a call from Greg making sure I got home ok and was wondering if my wife liked the car. Excellent experience.
I recently took my truck in for recall work at Diehl Ram in Butler, and while it was there I received less than acceptable service. With how much vehicles cost and what it takes to repair a vehicle the last thing that should be on a customer’s mind is the quality of service, the vehicle being damaged, or even being lost while in the care of a dealership. What follows will be a summary of my negative experience.
I originally took my truck in for warranty work and while in the service department they lost my keys all 3 times when I went to pick it up, as well as not being able to locate my truck one of the 3 times. The second time I went to pick up my truck should have been the last time except they had damaged the interior. When I brought it to their attention, they weren’t sure it could be fixed but would have it looked at prompting the third visit. I then dropped it off and made sure to notate not to work on it till I was advised, but once again they dropped the ball and repaired my vehicle without my consent. The repair is not the type of workmanship I would expect from a dealer. It gets sticky and doesn’t match the rest of the interior because only half was painted. I calmly asked for them to replace the part to which I got the response “we don’t even know if it happened here” and will not be replacing it. The customer service at this dealership is subpar at best. No one calls you back unless they want your money. So, after exhausting all avenues I feel the need to make others aware. If you decide to take your vehicle to this dealership document the condition of your vehicle inside and out as they will try to use any excuse to remove themselves from fault. I even have paperwork from them stating they damaged it at last service and still they deny the damage happened there. I would like to tell you to stay away from Diehl Ram in its entirety, but ultimately it is your choice, so just remember what you have read from my experience.
Took my 2020 Jeep Wrangler there for a corrosion issue on the hinges. I took it in on May 2022 and they said they would reach out and nothing. Call repeatedly over the course of 10 months and kept getting the runaround. Finally after 10 months I was told they lost the pictures and never submitted them! I was told I would need to come back and get pictures of the corrosion again. I went back to get pictures again and waited an hour for someone to take the pictures and was told somebody would reach out. Here we are again and nothing from anybody about a month later. Very frustrating and very poor business model! Save your time and go somewhere else.
This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership. They should be ashamed with their practice. This is the behavior that make people hate car dealerships. The only upside to the situation is the vehicle was a wish list vehicle and not something I needed to get by.
I normally do not write reviews, for good or bad, but Deihl has taken it to a whole new level for me.This will be the last time using them for my personal or business. I am a business owner, and what they did to me is totally unacceptable.
One year ago, I ordered a 2022 Dodge Challenger hellcat just the way I wanted it, and put a deposit down for it to be built. When I ordered the car, i ws told that it would a while for it to be built and I was fine ithnthat. For a year now, I have been getting updates on the build, and even at one point I was told I had to choose a different exterior color because they had a shortage of pigment used in the paint.
6 months into my wait, in October, Dodge announced that they were quitting production on the Dodge Challenger, and ever since then, demand has sky rocketed for them. Most dealers are charging 20k-30k over MSRP because of the demand.
Fast forward to today, I was informed that they canceled my order, and they might be able to order a different one but I would have to pay 20k - 30k over what the one I was having built would cost. They canceled my order so they could make more money. This is just bad business. I get it, everyone wants to make more money, but you dont steal it from someone who already ordered and paid. I have bought many cars in my life, and never had one canceled after I put a deposit down and was strung along for a year. I would be very careful before ordering from Deihl. I guess when you order a new car and put money down, the customer is the only one binded by the transaction.. I guess this is the Ultimate Buying Experience that Corina talks about in the TV advertisments.
I was sold a car at full market value with a leaking sunroof. When I took it back they tried to glue some of the holes. Now it's leaking again. I bought a car from this dealership they cannot be driven in the rain. It floods the entire interior. They had to know about the problem because every time I went back to check on the car someone was cleaning or had just had cleaned the interior. They knew. They don't stand by their products and they kick you out the door once they have your money. I've never seen the dealer with such poor ethics. Do not trust these people.
