What Others Say

Exceptional dealership. Our salesperson,Brian Tarddy, was attentive and personable. Highly recommended Colonial Toyota!! Go ,see and experience a great dealership!

Colonial Toyota Supervisors ( Mr Has, for example) are the most unhelpful and most arrogant of any Toyota Dealership I have ever had the misfortune to buy a car. At first they are the most charming when talking to a prospective buyer. BUT, once they have your money, all reasonable behavior goes out the window and become more aggressive than hungry hyenas. It is most unethical and most unprofessional.. Colonial Toyota dealership does not deserve the positive reviews it has acquired. I bought (in a lease contract) a 2026 Grand Hylander Limited on Dec 22nd 2025 for use whenever I would reside in my Connecticut Condo. It fit properly in my indoor parking space. However, I sold that condo to live in Florida full time, so, I drove the Hylander to my home in Fl. Upon arrival in FL, I was unable to park the car in my garage because of its size (20 + inches longer than most other cars) Since the lease is for 39 months and given the inclement, and at times, violent Florida weather, I am unwilling to keep this beautiful new car ( 3,500 miles now) outdoors to the harsh weather. I called the dealer to voluntarily surrender the car, after I have already made five monthly payments. The staff, the sales person, the supervisor all became rude and uncooperative, even accusing me of being irresponsible and not even giving me the courtesy of returning my calls. I asked for the $2300 charge for the protective coating they were supposed to put on the car while it was in Connecticut which they did not do because of a snow storm that made it hazardous to drive back to the dealer. The answer again was no. They are keeping my $2,300 and will not apply the protectant either. Bad business decision. That, in my view is never a way to keep loyal customers who give them repeat business. My advice to you : Don't take the risk to get caught in such a nightmare. It will cost you more money than you can even imagine. I give them a one star. They deserve Zero stars.

Worst dealership I have ever bought a car from. They did my paperwork and there were problems with mistakes in the title and registration. Took a couple of months to get proper title. They repeatedly did not respond to emails, text messages, and voicemails. I had to complain to the Toyota concern line just to get them to respond to me. They lied to me about the error in registration and I eventually had to sort it out with DMV, even though I paid them to register the vehicle. They keep pushing me to bring my car in for service, but there have been two issues that I needed to sort out with the service manager, and on both occasions he never responded to my messages. Nothing but headaches from this dealership.

On August 1st, I purchased a 2025 Toyota 4Runner for my son, who is currently serving on active duty in the U.S. Navy. The sales process with Mitch was excellent—straightforward, efficient, and exactly what we had requested. The entire process, including a test drive, was completed in under 30 minutes.

Please save your money and do not come to this dealership. The RAV4 these last few years have had a grille problem that doesn’t protect the condenser/radiator well. Toyota doesnt want to address it. This dealership will do everything in its power to not fix your car. They just told me to have my insurance fix it because they wont do it unless I pay $1,600. Terrible dealership. Save your money. There are so many other dealerships that will still treat you well even after you bought from them. No one should be paying $1,600 in repairs 2 weeks after buying a new car, and terrible service.

Extremely pleased with my experience at Colonial Toyota in Milford. The entire staff, especially Luciano and Elijah, was very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. I feel very satisfied driving off the lot with my Toyota Tacoma!
