What Others Say

I bought my new Z with the help of RC Cashatt. The entire process from ordering to delivery was quite smooth and Robert was a pleasure to work with. My previous M roadster has been serviced by Chapman since 2007 and their service department has been top notch.

I ultimately love my car and am happy with my purchase, but the buying experience itself was stressful and disappointing enough that I would not return or recommend this dealership. The sales process felt unnecessarily pushy from the start. I was repeatedly asked to sign every negotiation worksheet, and at one point was told I was “in a deal,” which caused genuine panic, this was never explained upfront, and it felt misleading and high, pressure rather than transparent. I’ve purchased multiple vehicles before and have never experienced that approach. During negotiations, my trade-in keys and car were taken and not returned while discussions were ongoing, which made me uncomfortable and added to the pressure of the situation. That should never happen before a deal is finalized. After agreeing to terms, I was told the vehicle would be fully detailed and filled with gas. Unfortunately, only the exterior was washed, the interior was still dusty and clearly not properly detailed, and the vehicle was not filled with gas as promised. I also waited an additional 15–20 minutes just to have the vehicles brought around so I could transfer my belongings. While the numbers ultimately worked out and I do love the vehicle itself, the overall experience felt rushed, disorganized, and overly aggressive. Buying a car should feel professional and respectful, not stressful and confusing. I’m happy with my car, but I would not do business here again.

Mitch at Chapman BMW on Camelback has done it again! When it comes to my automotive service needs, he consistently delivers excellent care. He’s a clear communicator, takes time to explain the necessary repairs, and always makes the effort to connect on a personal level. Having come from the car business myself, I truly appreciate how dealership personnel carry themselves—not just with customers, but with fellow team members as well. At a high-end dealership like BMW, professionalism matters at every level, from the person answering the phones to the porters on the service drive. Sometimes actions speak louder than words, and as someone who knows the industry, I notice those details. Mitch and his service team stand out for all the right reasons. I highly recommend them for anyone needing trustworthy, top-notch automotive service.

As a Costco Executive Member, I was referred to Chapman BMW on Camelback through the Costco Auto Program to purchase a pre-owned 2020 Z4 30i. Salesperson Kenneth Smith contacted me promptly and offered what appeared to be a fair price based on Kelley Blue Book. However, despite my requests, neither Mr. Smith nor his sales manager provided written confirmation of the quoted price until two days later—at which point the written quote was substantially higher than the original offer. I was then advised that the vehicle, which had fewer than 7,000 miles, required new brakes, tires, and a \$600 battery—adding approximately \$4,000 to the price. These issues raised serious concerns about the vehicle’s condition and the dealership’s transparency. I declined the offer and reported the experience to the Costco Auto Program. Disappointing experience that did not meet the expectations of integrity and clarity typically associated with Costco’s referral network.

I just bought my first X3 with Steve Murphy as my sales team member and was wonderful! This is my mom car and he helped me a ton to be sure I got exactly what I was looking for. He was super communicative before and during the transaction. He also helped me with a repair shortly thereafter and his customer service exceeded all expectations. Steve has our family as future customers for any vehicle purchase and I so appreciate all of his help and attention to detail!

I just leased a BMW iX M60 from Chapman BMW on Camelback. I am entering my third quarter century of life and I love cars, so I’ve had a lot of experiences with car dealers and dealerships. My experience with Chapman BMW on Camelback puts them in A+ category. My salesman, Steve Murphy and the Finance Manager, Giuseppe Ferrara where some of the most pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable gentlemen I have ever dealt with, at any dealership. Steve Murphy made every effort possible to get me the best deal on the M60 and Giuseppe Ferrara made the financing a breeze, as a plus, he’s easy to talk to and a hoot. I highly recommend the folks at Chapman BMW on Camelback, and particularly Steve Murphy and Giuseppe.
