I brought my wife's explorer in for a complete oil service and a small drip under the water pump. Service rep stated they were slow and could get to it right away. The water pump needed replacement and the rep said 2-3 day job. The job ended up taking 14 days to complete. I received zero updates from the rep, except when I had to call. 6 times. I picked up my vehicle and luckily it was a short drive back home otherwise the motor would have overheated and seized up. The mechanic did not purge the cooling system correctly after the water pump replacement, causing a air pocket in the engine. After the car cooled I had to add over 3/4 gallon of antifreeze to the empty radiator. Luckily my wife wasn't on her road trip and having a major breakdown. Spoke to the service director and explained the ordeal. His response was "Sorry and he will speak to the mechanic" What a blow off!! The engine fluids were not topped of as promised on the service estimate. Rep said they don't do that? Why is it that I spent almost $2,000 and receive my car worse off than when I brought it in, let alone having to fix the screw up myself? I've been in business here in Santa Monica for over 50 years and would never employ incompetent people representing my business. The owner should wake up and see what's really going on. " Sales down?, Service down? "You can't assume this review is just another angry customer. I not angry. I' disappointed. You can't blow off your negative reviews. I'd take them seriously! How can anyone trust a service dept. to work on an innocent wife or daughters car with results like mine? No one in the service dept. wanted to own this screw up. No follow up call from service rep or director. I was planning on turning this vehicle in for a brand new one. Why would I want to purchase a vehicle from Airport Marina Ford, knowing they have such a lousy service dept. Hopefully the owner reads this post. Gary Santa Monica
DISCRIMINATION & BULLYING — WARNING TO WOMEN & LATINO COMMUNITY DO NOT STEP FOOT IN THIS DEALERSHIP. Since 12/18/2025, my lease for a 2025 Ford Bronco Sport has been a nightmare. My $399 quote was hiked to $539. As a woman of color, I was bullied into signing the contract before I realized they legally owed me an Adverse Action Notice for the price change. Mr. Edwards, Mr. Matar, and Reza Badr are dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. They are dishonest bullies who refuse to keep their word or provide a corrected contract. Even with BBB and DMV complaints active, they continue to lie and provide conflicting information. Shame on the owner for condoning this discriminatory environment toward women. If this is how they do business, they do not deserve our patronage. There are many other dealerships that actually respect and honor women. Save yourself the trauma—STAY AWAY.
I have brought my Accord here for over a decade and have NOT been disappointed.
The car sells man Anthony was very pushy and his comments throughout our appointment were very insulting. Although he tried to work with me I felt very uncomfortable. Management needs to coach him on his sell’s approach.
I would like nothing more than to leave a great review. However, my experience has been not favorable. My 2023 new Mach E, has part of the overhead material coming apart. The good news: It is (of course) under warranty. The bad news (to my surprise) I was told they do not have loaner cars, while warranty work is performed. I had to miss an entire day of work. Less than 1 week later, the exact problem returned. I am now expected to miss (at least) another day of work. In all my years of purchasing new vehicles, I have never had a dealership not provide transportation when "warranty" work is being done. I would had never, ever purchased from this dealership had I know this. What a huge dissapointment.
Mo is the best service tech I have worked with in over 22 years that I have been driving Ford cars. Mo's response to every detail, from setting the appointment till I drove off and called Regina back with a follow-up question, was perfect!
