I ordered a rear view mirror thru 'Accessories.Chevrolet for my newly purchased Malibu, a mirror that included buttons for the "HomeLink" garage door opener... the OEM mirror does not include a built-in universal garage remote. The mirror was delivered to Gunn parts dept, and I was notified of its arrival by SHERRY on 7 May 2026. She went out of her way to find when the appropriate technician would be available for installation, and she scheduled me for an appointment the very next day. Super nice. Then when I arrived for install the next morning, ROLAND CORTEZ handled the entire matter in a very professional and efficient manner. This is a new car for me and I took this opportunity to pick ROLAND'S brain on a host of features. This gent is a walking encyclopedia! Not only did he show me details about what I asked, he went a whole lot further. To say I am pleased and impressed with the GUNN Chevy service department is putting it mildly. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure my complete satisfaction...a rarity these days. Also, I was in and out in about 1 hour, another amazing fact! This place is now my go-to for all things Malibu. Nice waiting area too. If I ever start my own company, I will definitely recruit these 2 outstanding folks. He provided clear, straightforward out-the-door pricing when I asked for it, and the numbers were fair and transparent. What stood out most was his professionalism and responsiveness. After I took the vehicle home, I reached back out with a follow-up request to explore other options with different features. Laz immediately got to work, researched alternatives, and reported back with complete and honest information—no pressure, no sales tactics, just facts. When I came in to finalize everything, the process was smooth and thorough. I asked a lot of questions, and Laz took the time to answer each one without hesitation—even repeating details when needed to make sure I was comfortable. The time spent at the dealership was focused entirely on clarity, not upselling. I also appreciated that a non-negotiable add-on I requested was already installed on the vehicle before I even arrived. I was prepared to wait several days, but the vehicle was ready to go, which speaks to their attention to detail and respect for my time. The only minor issue I encountered relates to the vehicle itself, not the dealership—the standard LT trim does not include a built-in universal garage remote. That’s a manufacturer decision, not a reflection of the buying experience. Overall, this was one of the most straightforward and respectful car-buying experiences I’ve had. Laz made the entire process easy, professional, and pressure-free. I would not hesitate to recommend him and Gunn Chevrolet to others.
