It doesnt try to feel premium in every way, but what it does, it tends to do well: big-SUV presence, usable power, a decent interior for long trips, and lots of utility. The standard engine in the SLE is a 5.3-liter V8 with direct injection, variable valve timing, and GMs EcoTec3 technology. It delivers strong acceleration, especially for merging or hauling, and the torque output gives it the ability to tow heavy loads without feeling overwhelmed. Noise insulation is respectable: wind, road, and engine noise creep in when pushed, but for regular cruising the cabin remains comfortable. Visibility up front is good, and the large windows provide a spacious feel; getting into tight parking or maneuvering in cramped areas is where its size shows its limits.Inside, you get a large cabin built for capacity. Seating for seven to nine depending on configuration, with three rows, is useful for families, road trips, or groups. Materials in the SLE are decentpremium cloth, good plastics in visible places, though trims like slats, stitching, and finish are simpler than in the premium versions. Features like tri-zone climate control, remote start, heated side mirrors, and a good infotainment system help the everyday experience. The rear cargo space (especially behind the third row) is limited, as is typical, but folding down rear seats frees up a lot of usable room.On safety and utility, th
