Heather MacKinnon

Heather MacKinnon began her career in online sales in 2001, as an account manager for the Boston division of CitySearch.com. She ranked number one for Boston sales and number five in the company’s national sales force. In 2003, Heather moved into the automotive industry with jobs at Autotrader.com and DataOne Software. During her years at Autotrader, Heather managed 80 accounts and exceeded the company’s first, second and third year goals by 200%. As the Director of Sales for DataOne, Heather was responsible for developing an outside sales team, and created sales and marketing collateral for training and marketing. She was in charge of direct sales to national clients and increased sales by 200%.

Heather joined DealerRater.com in August 2008 as the Vice President of Sales. She is passionate about bringing solutions to car dealers that help them grow their business and gain a competitive advantage in their local market.

Heather’s dream car is a late 1967 Alpha Romeo Spider and her favorite customer service perks are the coffee and trashy entertainment magazines (usually enjoyed simultaneously!)
