DealerRater Streamlines Review Collection for Dealers with New ReviewBuilder Platform

Pilot test shows 4x increase in average weekly review generation

WALTHAM, Mass. – June 23, 2015 – DealerRater, the car dealer review website for consumers, today launched ReviewBuilder as an automated solution for U.S. and Canadian car dealerships to accelerate their online review collection efforts and boost visibility across the Web.

ReviewBuilder, an all-new product in DealerRater’s Certified Dealer program suite, offers dealers an automated, customizable and hands-off approach to earning more reviews at a faster pace.  All reviews generated by the tool earn a “Verified Customer” badge displayed alongside the review, providing an additional layer of trust and transparency for consumers searching for the right dealership.   

“Studies have shown that consumers trust reviews more than all types of advertising. ReviewBuilder allows dealers to increase the velocity at which they receive reviews while removing any reliance on manual or inconsistent processes at the dealership,” said DealerRater CEO Gary Tucker. “Our pilot test resulted in participating dealers averaging four times more weekly reviews, and 99 percent of all reviews collected described a positive experience.  With the ability to capture higher volumes of reviews, dealers can leverage the positive stories right away and address unhappy customers before it impacts their CSI scores.”

ReviewBuilder further streamlines review collection efforts by removing the manual email verification process that is required before a review posts.  Reviews generated through ReviewBuilder are automatically verified, resulting in more reviews posting more quickly. 

Initial results have shown approximately 70 percent of reviews received to be service-specific, where word-of-mouth resonates highly among shoppers.
