He went out of his way to meet me at a couple of the different motor werks stores/locations until he found the truck I ended up buying! He sent me an email with a truck that had everything I had asked for and more, and he had already run the numbers to make sure I wouldn't get my hopes up On something I couldn't afford! He was very conscious of my budget and really listened to what the needs of my family were. I really appreciated that! I will call him and highly recommend him for any further car purchases that we make! If you want a person who cares about you and your family getting you what you want and need that is safe and reliable ask for David Lecinski, from Land Rover Hoffman Estates!! More

My mother and I had the worst car buying experience we have ever had at Land Rover of Hoffman Estates Stay away from here for the crooked practices. My mother and I had the worst car buying experience we have ever had at Land Rover of Hoffman Estates and we were treated horribly and rudely by Lev Akdimar and the manager John Neilson. They sold her car (she was the primary buyer and I was the co-buyer) without her releasing the car or knowing anything about it. She never signed any power of attorney to them to sell the car on her behalf-nor did they bother to wait for her to return to town to sign anything. Less than 4 days later when she returned, I asked that they please rescind the deal but Lev stated that he did not care about the "law" he knew the car business and there was nothing to discuss. I do not know whether it is because we were not white or women, but I have never been treated so rudely. John actually laughed at us when we called about the situation. Lev said we were welcome to contact the AG or report the car stolen, he "did not care he knew the car business.". In point of fact, what they did was not legal. This was all despite my telling John the manager that I had not have power of attorney to sign for my mom and that she would have to sign the deal when she returned into town. They sold the car without obtaining her approval or signature the next day. What they did was not legal -she never released the car. The sales person said the car ( a Range Rover Sport) was sold the next day-without being released by the owner or obtaining a signature and against my informing them that my mom was out of town. Hope this serves as a warning- any other Land Rover dealer in Illinois will give you a better deal in terms of valuing your trade- we were told by two other Land Rover dealers that we were "violated" in terms of the price we were given for our trade by the sales manager Ed Sheehan--- which they sold in violation of the law! It is highly unlikely that any other Land Rover dealer in Illinois will engage in such crooked and fraudulent sales practices. More

Pleasant buying experience I went into Land Rover of Hoffman Estates to just look at a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 for my son and I ended up purchasing it that day. I was dreading I went into Land Rover of Hoffman Estates to just look at a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 for my son and I ended up purchasing it that day. I was dreading going into this dealership or any dealership for that matter, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted by a very nice gentleman, David Lecinski. Immediately I had a good feeling about this gentleman. There was no typical high pressure jargon or xxxxxxused to make the sale. I took the vehicle for a test drive and spoke with David and decided I was very comfortable purchasing this vehicle from this dealership. I have had some bad experiences with other dealerships, but Land Rover of Hoffman Estates was a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to give this dealership a try and speak with David Lecinski for a great buying experience. More

When we were ready to purchase, we started working with Steve because David was with other customers. David stopped by and told us we were in great hands with Steve. Steve worked with our financial goals with John and Lev, and we were able to come to a mutual agreement on the vehicle. Everyone was extremely professional, polite and overall very pleasant to work with. David was extremely helpful in walking us through what was right for us. Steve went out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable with everything and overall did a great job being our advocate during the negotiation process. Their friendliness, experience, and assistance to a new sales person were impressive. That being said, taking advantage of a customer from a financial perspective is disgraceful. Those in the finance department are nothing short of being pirates in search of buried treasure in your bank account. Captain Ed Shlemon, the sales manager, even after knowing we have mutual friends in the business, continued to take advantage of us as customers. Prior to our embarking, we prepared ourselves by being armed with the knowledge of our trade in value as well as the value of the new the Range Rover V-8 Supercharge. Our predetermined value of the Range Rover was based solely on research and the knowledge from others in the car business. Captain Ed insisted we were being offered a fair deal, but sadly, we were not. Walking the plank was an optioned we entertained: getting ready to plunge into the shark invested waters of car dealerships in order to find the Range Rover of our dreams. Leaving the pirate theme behind now, finally Ed returned with a fair deal. Then, it was the finance department along with Ed attempting to recoup their discount by offering us an insulting interest rate 4.1-4.9%! During the finance process, we attempted to use our own bank, Chase who were offering us 2.39%, but instead were being forced into banking with US Bank. We would recommend that future customers arm themselves with knowledge of vehicle value and interest rates prior to entering the doors of Land Rover Hoffman Estates. The dealership profits more when its customers know someone in the business. Yet, the written words above do NOT reflect, our salesman Alex Blaul who was nothing short of exemplary. His willingness to ensure our satisfaction was never ending. For future purchases, Alex Blaul will be our salesman! More
