Poor customer service regarding refund of warranty purchased We purchased a GLK350, the dealership had used it as a service car for one year. We decided to purchase an expensive warranty for the car. After some time we decided we needed a bigger SUV and nothing was available at the dealership. We were told the value of the refund entitled to us and were advised that it would take approximately 4 weeks to receive. We traded in and notified Gainesville on August 29th that we no longer had the car and have still not received the money. Calls are made to the dealership to sales managers, they are slow in contacting us so we called the corporate office and were advised the dealer had the money October 1st. Sales was wonderful, service satisfactory, but this situation is unsatisfactory and we would never deal with them again. We are taking about a $2000 refund, very surprising for a quality car manufacturer such as Mercedes to not satisfy their customer. Loved our car, would purchase another in the future, but not from Gainesville. More
