Very happy with my purchase in Oct 2023 of a BMW i5 EV and I love the vehicle. It is awesome. The salesman and the purchase experience was first rate...with one and only one prominent exception. I found out later that NY has a $500 rebate for the i5. I asked them in Feb what the story was and that I felt they should have known about it. I contacted the salesman and he said it had to be applied for within 90 days and that they could no longer do anything about it, 'that ship has left'. Then I got on the Burdick website and sent a question about what the company position is on this situation. Over one month and NO reply. Cripe. Just ignore me and I will go away. So...I will be continuing to do service at Burdick, with which I am very happy, however my next car purchase will be at another dealer who is convenient to a weekly commute that I do. I will not trust Burdick BMW to competently get me the best deal possible. In addition, I have a friend who insists they must have known about the NY EV rebate, applied for it, and kept it. I do have to wonder. Bmwusa.com told me that they can not do anything about sales situations as all dealerships are independently owned and operated. At least they replied very quickly. UPDATE: Same day I posted this, Burdick BMW sales manager, Joe Iannotta, contacted me. He was extremely apologetic and will be cutting a check for me immediately to make things right. I am VERY impressed. No run around, did not try to blame me, he is accepting all responsibility for having missed the rebate when I bought the car. He also said that in order for NY to issue the rebate, there is a form I have to sign and provide a copy of my driver's license and the rebate will not be issued without that, so I am confident nothing inappropriate happened there. Whew! I am happy to modify my review accordingly. I will be buying my next BWM, probably another i5, from them in a couple years. More

My wife spoke to Chris on the phone Monday afternoon August 21st and came to terms on a price on a certain car and said we would be there in the morning. After seeing both, my wife preferred the BMW so we went back to buy it only to be told by Josh that because it was not in writing, and couldn't be verified, they would not honor the price given the day prior and it was now $500 more. Typical bait and switch tactic and one of the reasons used car salesmen have the reputation they do. This dishonest practice was rewarded with the competition selling us a car as we won't do business with people who boldly lie to our face. More
