We came to Cochran expecting to replace our old Buick with a later model used car. When we first entered the dealership, we expected to be stampeded by salespersons. It was just the opposite. Everyone was friendly without being overbearing. We caught the attention of Mr. Douglas and he made us feel comfortable right from the beginning. He was casual, yet professional. He's just the kind of salesperson everyone likes to encounter. He answered all of our questions to the best of his ability. When he couldn't answer a question, he was forthright and told us he would ask someone else who could. We left Cochran with a new car. I think that is due in large part to the integrity we felt Mr. Douglas displayed.

All men were very knowledgeable, professional as well as personable with my interaction with each individual. Shawn being relatively new to the field conducted himself like a seasoned professional. He knew the product and described it well and demonstrated it and all its complicated features so that I would understand how to use each feature of the vehicle with ease. I left the dealership with a great vehicle and a great sense of satisfaction knowing that I have a great team standing behind me as well as with me to help with anything I may need in the future. I was greeted at the door of #1 Cochran by Rick Bauer. He was warm and friendly and after spending just a short while with him I was telling him all about my family and he shared about his as well. I felt us bonding over our similar family values. He explained the features of the vehicle we bought with absolute accuracy. ( I know because I had researched the car before I came) He was able to tell me things about the car that an online review couldn't. When it came time for financing, my husband and I needed special financing and we were introduced to Warren. These two gentlemen were kind and never made us feel embarressed. Instead they made us feel like we had come to the right place. We are now #1 Cochran only customers for life and that is due to Rick and Warren. Not because we left with a vehicle we love, and not because we got a deal that we wanted but because we believe that these two men are genuine and fair and kind and they treated us with respect. I can't thank them enough. We intend to express our appreciation for thier help with our lifelong loyalty.

My Review Of #1 Cochran Buick-Cadillac-GMC of Monroeville:

I purchased a Dodge Nitro on January 25, 2013. On January 28, 2013 my heat quit working; I called, dropped my vehicle off and received it back the following day. I was told that they flushed it out and there was a clog blocking the heat. It worked for 3 days, I had to call and return my car back to them on February 5, 2013, they kept it for 2 days, replacing some parts, it was returned to me on February 7, 2013 and on February 8, 2013 my heat stopped working AGAIN! Dropped it back on off on the 11th and was told I would be able to pick my vehicle back up on the 13th, I called repeatedly and couldn’t get ahold of anyone, finally when I someone called me back I was told that I couldn’t have my vehicle back till the 14th. I got my car back and that evening I drove it to New Jersey that Saturday it quit working AGAIN! It is currently back at the dealership. With all these times with it going back to them I’ve been given a crappy rental vehicle. A Chevy Impala I was given was TERRIBLE on gas, and 2 times it was given to me empty. I have spent almost $200 of MY money fueling this vehicle that isn’t even mine. On one occasion I watched one of the workers pull the car around, go into the manager’s office and tell him that there was no fuel in the car and if he should put gas in it, the manager told him no. I am to the point of hiring an attorney to take care of this issue, I haven’t even made a payment on this vehicle yet, and they have had longer than me. On top of that my warranty is going to be running out and I haven’t driven the car more than a week/week and half. I feel like I’ve been treated more like a bother than a customer who made a purchase with them. I will NEVER buy from them again and I will make sure I tell everyone the service I have been given. I am really disappointed that my husband and I even decided to pull into that dealership.

Car buying is not something I look forward too, but this time was very easy. Chuck allowed my wife and I to take the test drive by ourselves and let the car sell itself. He was very knowledgeable about the cars and sold facts not BS. When it came time to make a deal, all of the pricing was shown and he took the time to find other discounts we were entitled to. No need for the let me talk to my manager back and forth I have experienced at other dealerships. We can only hope that the Service business is the same way. We really appreciated how easy things were.

Vernon was an absolute joy to work with. Normally buying a new vehicle is a long, stressful, and fearful process. Vernon made this process fun, enjoyable, and exciting. I recently purchased a new 2013 GMC Terrain and was in need of some accessories installed. At the service center I was greeted by Clay Cova. He helped me above and beyond what I had expected. Normally I made to feel belittled by services centers but not at #1 Cochran GM. Everything was completed very fast and with a smile. I fully intend to bring all applicable vehicles back to this location. Highly Recommended!
