My Review of 128 Mazda:
I sent an e-mail to this dealer, who wrote back without a quote or any valuable info. He called a day later when I did not respond to his e-mail. He was vague on price, which sounded suspiciously low. He told me he had 2 of the exact vehicles I wanted in stock. I had looked on mazdausa.com and saw that his inventory did not show these 2 vehicles. When I mentioned this, he acted offended and said that the site did not show all cars.
He said when I came to the dealer, to mention his name and ask for two specific salespeople, which I did. When I got there, I was met outside by a salesperson and was immediately brought to a table. One guy stood over and watched as the other salesman took out a piece of paper. I told him exactly what I was looking for. He then asked if I wanted side airbags and some other option. I explained that I told him what I wanted already and I knew that my model didn't come with those options. Those were for the next model up.
The salesman said, "I just sold it," I said, "I was told that you had two." I stood up and it was obvious I knew about the bait and switch done on me. He crumpled the paper and I left.
I wish I had seen this website earlier. It would have saved me a trip.

My Review of 128 Mazda:
This dealership is the 'poster boy' of sleaze. They have salespeople lined up outside like sharks even in driving rain.
They will follow you around the lot. I made an appointment to see a specific car and drove 20 miles in a poring rain to see it.
When I got there I was told it had been sold the day before!
I spoke with the internet sales manager the evening before and was told that it was available!

My Review of 128 Mazda:
Most internet sales go over pretty smoothly since that is how I decided to make a deal... I dont like the pressure you get from doing it in person, however this internet salesman was also a huge jerk and tried to pressure me into buying the car, called me constantly when I said I only wanted email information at first, and then never called me later when they promised to call me before they sold the one I was looking at. Then I went in was told after sitting around with them trying to make a deal for about 30 minutes that they had already sold the one I wanted, which I thought was a lie.

They have the largest inventory in the NE so they try to push any car on you which is never exactly what you really want.

Worst experience of any dealerships I visited. Don't go here.

My Review of 128 Mazda:
after reading previous reviews, i have found to have the same expereinces.

first, anytime i drop off my rodeo, they always try to bring us to the bank! they charge us for extra things all the time, and things that have nothing to do with the problem (i have a mechanic friend). the reason why i have returned there is b/c of the warranty. however, they always try to charge for things covered under the warranty. not just once or twice but everytime. sounds shady to me. in fact here is story about the last time it was "serviced:"
i drop off the car and i am told it is an oxygen sensor, etc. that needs to be fixed. we are told it isn't under the warranty. we double check fine. we get the car back, and the receipt say they replaced something different for about 600 dollars. so we call and they say oh, it is part of the oxygen sensor or next to or something stupid. so we call the warranty place and find out it is under warranty. we argue and get our money back. however, the car is still not fixed! engine light still on! we drop it off for a whole day and they say they can't find the problem. we drop it off for a third time and they still can't find the problem throughout the day, but at the end of the day they tell us the engine wiring harness needs to be replace, since they don't know what that is, that is what needs to be done. nice, i would love to go to the doctors with some type of unknown ailment, and just let them open me up on the table for fun. of course, this was 1200 dollar repair allegedly not covered by the warranty. at this time, the head rep, procedes to announce to us (who are getting annoyed) the price in a dr. evil )from austin powers) voice. very professional. of course, after we called the warranty company, it was covered. this is a typical visit. aggervation, gettign ripped off and complete rudeness everytime! i would definitely stay away.

more interestingly, while waiting in the waiting area, dialogue uponed up between us and some stragers and soon the room, finidng out that they have had the same expereinces. nice to know it isn't jsut us.

My Review of 128 Mazda:
yeah, i have to agree with most of the others here - this place isn't where you want to purchase your mazda.

on super bowl sunday this past year i went to find out about a special edition mazda 3 i had read about. i had done a lot of research so i knew what i was talking about, but the people there didn't really have a clue and gave me conflicting information that changed every time we discussed another feature about the car. despite all that i put down $500 to "reserve" a special edition when it came in (i wanted one with black leather). the guy assured me it was on a truck and would be in between 2-10 days.

FOUR MONTHS later (after repeatedly calling them because i got no phone calls from them) i get a call saying the car is finally in. this was on a monday. i was busy at work so i told them i'd be in later in the week to get the car. when i called back, the jerks had sold the car i had "reserved." i demanded my money back but was told i had to be at the dealer to get a refund. so i had to trek up there from boston to get my refund.

these guys are total bullshit, so tread carefully if you must deal with them - but try and avoid them entirely if you can.

My Review of 128 Mazda:
Well it first started when my Rx-8 needed service and I heard about 128's from a friend , so I decided to tow it there. My car was a RX-8 that was flooded. .... Well , on Rx8club.com everyone knows the flooding problem is covered under warranty ,so I brought it in expecting it to be covered. BUT , they did not cover it under warranty!! They gave me bullshit ... the service writer pulled a code out of his ass and said my car's intake caused the flood ..... So , I looked up the code and this code is turned on everytime the battery is taken out and put back in ... and guess what ? He admitted he took out the battery to charge it and everytime he put back in the battery he got this code .... wow ... I told him that the cause of the code was the battery being taken out , and he swears at me and hangs up and tells me there is no way it is going to be covered under warranty ..... I of course do not want to leave my car with this psycho , so I immediately pick up my car and pay for it with my credit card ... BIG MISTAKE, because now that they got my money , they don't want to give it back. I called Mazda North america and john gives them bullshit that THEY COVERED IT UNDER WARRANTY !!! Obviously it was not covered because I was still billed ... so I request a meeting with the regional service manager .... it has been 3-4 months and still I have not spoken to a regional service manager , because they never callled me back to tell me the appointment time ! I called back many times ... but all they do is yell and tell me that I have to wait .... Weird thing is .. that they confused me with 3 other people when I called .... obviously showing that MANY people are requesting meetings with the regional service manager ... because of their lack in performance and knowledge. <br><br>DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR WORK THAT IS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY!! <br><br>THEY MAKE YOU PAY FOR EVERYTHING , EVEN IF IT IS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY!!<br><br>Also John told me to never come back to his service department ... funny a service writer can &quot;ban&quot; me from there ... he says that my car is not welcomed there ..... <br><br>Along with this , there was also a brake pad recall for my car and he said my car did not qualify for this because of my aftermarket intake causing more power in the car ... thus causing the brakes to wear out more ... BULLSHIT ... I contacted K&amp;N and they told me this dealership is total bullshit .... <br><br>I am still waiting for my meeting with the regional service manager .. hopefully 128 did not lie about setting up a meeting with him ...<br><br>cause they have lied to me 200000 times before ...<br><br><br>BEWARE , DO NOT GOTO 128 MAZDA
