My Review of AUTO PALACE:
Know my story is long, but believe me, IT IS WORTH READING.
At first, spoke with Hector who called over Manager Angel. Told him "WANT TO PURCHASE OUTRIGHT". Explained this was a surprise for my grand-daughters graduation. After viewing vehicle noticed TIRES BALD, NO RADIO and FANCY RIMS.
Ask Angel following:
Can you replace tires? (agreed they were bald)
Can you put radio in vehicle?
Can you change flashy rims for ordinary alloy rims?(which I'm sure were cheaper)
***** replied "YES WILL TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING, DON'T WORRY".
He explained that USED tires would be placed on vehicle. (of course wanted additional $400) Hector told me that the used tire would last less then a year. Asked Angel to find out what new tires would cost, and he said will call me with quote.(NEVER DID)
We agree on price, gave deposit and signed paper. THIS IS WHEN ANGEL SAYS "MUST FINANCE TO GET THE PRICE" Told us, DON'T WORRY can pay off right away. Gave Finance officer personnel info and from this info he said you are approved. Need certain documents, pay stubs, etc. and then will discuss which plan to get.
When I had all documents, was told can drive car off lot. Called Angel to verify that tires and rims were changed, radio was installed and vehicle would be cleaned. AGAIN, DON'T WORRY EVERYTHING WILL BE DONE. As soon as I arrived at AUTO PALACE saw vehicle. NOTHING WAS DONE..NO RADIO...NO DIFFERENT RIMS..NO DIFFERENT TIRES AND DIRTY. Was told as I speak to Finance officer everything will be done. WELL, finance officer tells me another $5,000 would be added to vehicle PLUS INTEREST on loan. Found out that the $5000 GOES TO DEALERSHIP. Told them NO DEAL and want my deposit returned. Said could not give me money until next day. As I left saw vehicle and NOTHING WAS DONE TO IT. WAS JUST LIKE I SAW IT THE FIRST DAY.
