My Review of Acura Of Mission Viejo:
I went to this dealership in December of 2006 to lease a TSX for my wife (suprise Christmas present). My salesman, Jeff, was by far the most professional and knowledgeable one I have ever met. He was very friendly and actually made the whole process fun and quick. I highly reccomend this dealership and Jeff. I also just went for my first oil change and the service department (up the road now) and they did a nice job too.

My Review of Acura Of Mission Viejo:
We shopped for a used certified Acura at most of the Southern California Acura dealers. We spent more than a month looking and comparing. We visited Acura of Mission Viejo three times in the process. We were always treated like we were their only customer on each occasion.

We purchased a 2003 Acura CL and have never had such wonderful treatment in the 50 years of purchasing automobiles. We were sold on the car and dealership.

All in all, this was a wonderful buying experience with several followup calls after the sale to be certain that we had no complaints.

My Review of Acura Of Mission Viejo:
This is by far the worst dealership I have ever dealt with in my whole life. You would think a dealership that is trying to takeover market share of the Mercedes-Benz and BMW arena would be more customer service oriented. This dealership sucks. I purchased a 2003 TL Type-S in June '02. This car is a pc. of junk. At 20k miles, the transmission had to be replaced and has acted up ever since and even several times before the problem. The car had been taken in several times before the replacement of the transmission and also several times after. The dealership was totally unprofessional and unsympothetic to the situation. The service manager was a complete idiot and did not EVER have my car ready to pick up when they told me. I don't know about the rest of their clientel, but I am a busy VP professional and do not have time to stand in the lobby of a service dept. of a dealership. After experiencing numerous more problems with the car and getting unsatisfactory service and answers, I then approached the General Manager for help with getting into another vehicle because of the horrible experience with this car. He was not too concerned with the problems we have had with the car and did not really seem to care. In his weak attempt to remedy the situation for us, he offered us a dollar amount for the car to buy it back that was so low that I would've lost $5000 right off the bat. He did not care that the car was faulty from the start and unsafe. Call me crazy, but in my opinion, if you spend $32k on a car and it doesn't work right from the start, then the dealership should back the product they sell and fix it right or help you into a new vehicle and go to bat for you with the factory and get it taken back. These guys did no such thing and so very easily let us leave there unhappy and disappointed. This has not much to do with customer service as it does to safety. My fiance drives this car to and from school and work which often goes into the late evening. If she is stranded (which has happened more than once) then that is totally unacceptable for a new car. Bottom line is this dealership kisses your ass as they did ours when we first walked in, but then when you need something after the day you drive it off, they do not care. Our sales guy was very very rude. I do not remember his name but he was the only african american gentlemen working there so he shouldn't be hard to spot. What a rude jerk this guy was when i went back to ask how to use some of the NAV features. He didn't care and wouldn't show me. Go to this place at your own risk.....

My Review of Acura Of Mission Viejo:
I went there November 2002 to purchase a RSX. Beware of a salesperson named Allan (if I remembered correctly). He's this big, fat white guy with a gut.

Here's what happened: first of all, the introduction was rather cold, not to mention rude; for some reason, he seemed reluctant to shake my hand. I got the impression he didn't consider me a serious buyer despite the fact I purposely dressed a notch above casual. I told him I wanted to test-drive a RSX and may even BUY one that day. Most salepeople would perk up at the word "buy" but he remained noncommital. Ok he said, I'll take you to the back car lot.

As we made our way toward the back car lot. he walked v e r y slowly and deliberately as if we had all the time in the world. Since he was taking so long, I decided to ask him a couple questions about the car features. When I opened my mouth, he stopped dead in his tracks, took a couple steps back and demanded that I go inside the building to negotiate the price. WTF?? I refused since I haven't even driven let alone seen the car yet!! Did he take me for an idiot?? Every time I asked a question, he'd employ the same stalling tactic--stop, backtrack a few steps, and ask me to go inside the building. What should've been a one-minute walk, took a good ten minutes.

At last, we arrived at the lot. I asked to test-drive a satin-silver model that caught my eye. He said fine but he'll need to grab the keys first. He left for the building in his same deliberate pace. 10...20...25 minutes went by.... Finally he returned. As he approached me, he stared at the keys in his hands and said "Oops, I grabbed the wrong set of keys, I'll have to go back." He repeated this stalling act again and made me wait another 25 minutes before coming back with the right set.

I was growing impatient at this point but thought oh well, at least I get to test drive the car now. But no....now he wanted to make a copy of my driver's license! He said it was for security reasons. Barely containing my frustration, I gave my license to him. Then he left again.... 10...20...30...40 minutes went by and the fat bastard was still nowhere to be seen. Eventually I couldn't take it anymore; I stormed inside the building and caught him lounging around the showroom drinking coffee! He wasn't making any f**king copies! I went up to him, asked for my license back and just left. He didn't give a sh*t. Can you believe this?? I wasted two hours at this damn dealership without sitting inside even one single car. Worse yet, I spent most of the time there just standing in the sun. Is this how they treat their customers?! I've never been so insulted in my entire life.

Those who read this review, please do me a big, big favor: DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR FROM MISSION VIEJO ACURA!!! Spread the word if you must!
