My Review of Acura Of Mission Viejo:
I went there November 2002 to purchase a RSX. Beware of a salesperson named Allan (if I remembered correctly). He's this big, fat white guy with a gut.

Here's what happened: first of all, the introduction was rather cold, not to mention rude; for some reason, he seemed reluctant to shake my hand. I got the impression he didn't consider me a serious buyer despite the fact I purposely dressed a notch above casual. I told him I wanted to test-drive a RSX and may even BUY one that day. Most salepeople would perk up at the word "buy" but he remained noncommital. Ok he said, I'll take you to the back car lot.

As we made our way toward the back car lot. he walked v e r y slowly and deliberately as if we had all the time in the world. Since he was taking so long, I decided to ask him a couple questions about the car features. When I opened my mouth, he stopped dead in his tracks, took a couple steps back and demanded that I go inside the building to negotiate the price. WTF?? I refused since I haven't even driven let alone seen the car yet!! Did he take me for an idiot?? Every time I asked a question, he'd employ the same stalling tactic--stop, backtrack a few steps, and ask me to go inside the building. What should've been a one-minute walk, took a good ten minutes.

At last, we arrived at the lot. I asked to test-drive a satin-silver model that caught my eye. He said fine but he'll need to grab the keys first. He left for the building in his same deliberate pace. 10...20...25 minutes went by.... Finally he returned. As he approached me, he stared at the keys in his hands and said "Oops, I grabbed the wrong set of keys, I'll have to go back." He repeated this stalling act again and made me wait another 25 minutes before coming back with the right set.

I was growing impatient at this point but thought oh well, at least I get to test drive the car now. But no....now he wanted to make a copy of my driver's license! He said it was for security reasons. Barely containing my frustration, I gave my license to him. Then he left again.... 10...20...30...40 minutes went by and the fat bastard was still nowhere to be seen. Eventually I couldn't take it anymore; I stormed inside the building and caught him lounging around the showroom drinking coffee! He wasn't making any f**king copies! I went up to him, asked for my license back and just left. He didn't give a sh*t. Can you believe this?? I wasted two hours at this damn dealership without sitting inside even one single car. Worse yet, I spent most of the time there just standing in the sun. Is this how they treat their customers?! I've never been so insulted in my entire life.

Those who read this review, please do me a big, big favor: DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR FROM MISSION VIEJO ACURA!!! Spread the word if you must!
