My Review of Acura of Dayton:
I bought my car in Cincinnati but I have no loyalty to the dealerships there due to service issues. I work in Dayton and took my car in to ACura of Dayton. The guy Casey was nice and efficient, they had my paperwork ready when I got there, and gave me a ride to work, no hassles. I got a free alignment check up, and they tested by battery and found out it was getting low, and replaced it under warranty. I apprecaite that cause I don't want to get stuck w/my kids somewhere. When I called Tina is the one who made my appointment, she was nice, gave me prices correctly, and offered me a free wash and vacuum, which I took. So far, so good, I'm going back there.

My Review of Acura of Dayton:
The recommendation is "neutral" -- but this option is not available.

I called to schedule an appointment at 10:00 AM and the receptionist indicated that everyone was busy. By 5:00 pm that day, no one had call so I called again. Two of the service were actually available to service my call because one person was having PC problems.

Another time I visited, I was told it would take1.5 - 2 hours to fix it and should be done by noon. Noon past and didn't receive a call. I called and they said it would take 1.5 hours and they were busier than expected.


My conclusions:
- My early appointment that I had scheduled a week ago didn't mean anything.
- The customer service wasn't as responsive in terms of returning a call or providing an update on my car.
- In the past, I have heard service isn't as good when you haven't bought the car from the dealership......well, seems like this statement is still holding true.....hopefully, the next experience will be better.
It's not extremely terrible -- but I cculdn't highly recommend it if you haven't bought your car from the dealership.

My Review of Acura of Dayton:
I called this dealership to make an appointment for an oil change. When I called at 12:00, I was told service employees were busy. The receptionist took my phone number and said someone from service would call me back. I never recieved a call back. I then called the next day at 10:00 AM. Again, I was told by the receptionist that all service people were busy and could they call back. I told the receptionist no one had returned my phone call yesterday. The receptionist asked if I bought my car there ( I did not) and stated she would walk the message to the service department. I told her I just needed to make an appointment for an oil change. As of 11:00 AM, I had not received a phone call back from service. I then called a different Acura dealer, and successfully scheduled an oil change.

My Review of Acura of Dayton:
I wasn't sure about the MDX or not, but Nancy from Sales, and Aaron from Service have made my ownership a pleasure! I moved from a BMW, but even though my maintenance work isn't included my dealer is fair and clear about what I'm getting done. I like the valet service they offer, I'm an hour and a half away but they pick up and deliver my car for all service. I wouldn't consider anywhere else, now I'm spoiled!
