My Review of Acura of Riverside:
This is the 3rd Acur and for sure will be the lat that I will be purchasing from this dealership. They are horrible and they always trying to up sell you one somethings. The MDX we purchase had an after market dealer install DVD player which was not working and I took it back the day after purchasing the vehicle the to correct the problem the Service Manager said this is not their problem so I tried tracking Chris down and he did not remember who we are of if we even bought the car from him (WTF) your name is on the contract due. So after finally causing a scene in the dealership they told me contact the company and they will correct it. Anyway after 2 weeks of trying to correct this problem the after market company corrected the issue and charge me to Hardwired the players into the car system. So not only I pay 3500 as an option I had to pay an additional $200 to get it hardwired and loosing 2 weeks of pay ($3900 in pay) This is the last time I will be going to this dealership I hope they go out of business soon.

My Review of Acura of Riverside:
Decent place. Friendly people. Able to deal with the sales people and find a good price. While the service department has it's challenges it is however a pleasant place to interact with. A little firmness goes a long way towards resolving challenging issues. By the way, Acuras are very nice cars.

My Review of Acura of Riverside:
I found a 2007 MDX online with a decent price. I called 1 hour before and spoke to Stephanie to make sure that the vehicle was there. I gave her the model, mileage and VIN# of the car and asked her to "touch" it to make sure I didn't waste my time driving from the San Fernando Valley with my wife and 4 month old daughter. She assured me that the vehicle was there and that "I can see it right in front of me." I told her we were leaving right away.

So I loaded up my family and drove the 90 minutes there. As we pulled up, she had "conveniently" just left. We spoke to another salesman and manager and we told at first "Stephanie would be right back. When we asked to see the vehicle, we were told that it was "just sold last night, but would we like to see another?" We were upset and wanted an explanation from Stephanie, who we were then told wouldn't be back for a few hours. They told us that she didn't have a cell phone and couldn't be contacted to explain herself.

This is a "bait and switch" if I've ever seen one. I'd give a zero if I could. They were apathetic and laughed at us because we were upset. They were demeaning, condescending, and totally untrustworthy. They make other car salepeople look honest by comparison.

My Review of Acura of Riverside:
My wife and I purchased a Certified Pre Owned MDX from Acura of Riverside. As she was transfering items from her trade in to the MDX she noticed that her purchase agreement was missing the "Certified Pre Owned" that was the reason we traveled to this dealership. The dealership was closing and the F&I manager was not to be found so the salesman wrote on the document that is taped to the window of the car, "Certified Pre Owned" and a date. We were intstructed to return to the service department and "they" would take care of our needs. I am leaving the poor rating to inform buyers to shop elsewhere. This dealer has been given one year to address this problem and has lied on several occassions by promissing to correct the problem. Now that the time period for the CPO status has expired they claim the salesmen no longer works at this dealership so we can't verify the CPO status. If you purchase a vehicle from the dealer, Good Luck. You will soon be writing in this space.

My Review of Acura of Riverside:
Yeah, so 3 weeks ago, I dropped off my 07 TSX to have a electrical short fixed at Acura of Riverside (California)... (its a 137 mile drive for me)

They notified me that the fuse block was melted, and it needed to be replaced... I agreed.

So they told me they were going to order the part on monday (it was a saturday when I dropped my car off for them to look at it.) I had to drive another 137 miles to hear that American Honda had sent them a fuse block for a TL and not a TSX... I told them it was impairative that my car be fixed ASAP... They offered me a loaner as to which I agreed... I looked over the loaner the best could in the blistering sunlight...

After I get home my girlfriend found a "dirty diaper" in the backseat, and my dad had found a rotten banana in the trunk (wtf)

They obviously don't care about the inside of their vehicles.

So 2 weeks go by and car still wasn't repaired... I drove down today with the loaner car, another 137 miles that is, only to find out that these f@ckheads are charging me for a dent in the side of the car that they all KNEW was there...

I got extremely pissed off and said f@ck it and sat in my car while they went over the paperwork... During that time, the stupid lady that overlooks the cars did a "3 second look-around" to another car that was brought in (also a loaner) I remembered seeing her go straight to the Loaner car that I was driving, driverside door and look at the faulty area(as if she knew it was already there)...

I brought that up, and she preceded to get offended (i felt like calling her a stupid b!tch, but held my tongue). Then the Supervisor, Manager, (stupid B!tch), and the person who was incharge of my vehicle preceded to argue about the level of service I had received... They all blamed ME for the fact that AH had sent them the WRONG part, and the fact that I lived so far away (wtf)... I finally said F@ck it and paid their stupid bodywork estimate so I could go on with the rest of my day...

I cannot f@cking believe this crap... Should I call the Acura center or something? This is definelty wrong, and cannot be legal under any circumstances...

They will never have my service again, I will go to bakersfield next time...

I had three differet people calling me telling me the other saelsman was fired and to only deal with him. They would not give me anything in writing. The customer service is the worst I have seen. My Review of Acura of Riverside:
I bought my 2002 CL used from this dealership, And have had it in for service there on a handfull of occasions. Nothing out of the ordinary, a little pricey but that's what you get with the dealership right?

well yesterday my check engine light came on. I went to autozone and borrowed their OBD-II reader and read the error code. It said that my catalyst was below efficiency. I reset the light and hoped that it was a fluke. No such luck. today it came on again. I called this dealer and asked someone in the service department what they thought. The first person to answer the phone basically didn't know anything about cars (which is a perfect person to have answering your phones in the service department.) and she transfered me to a mechanic who seemed peeved that i, a lowly customer, had the audacity to read my own check engine light error code. i asked if it could just be the O2 sensor he said "no that's a totally different code." then i asked if the catalytic converter should be replaced and he said "absolutely". THEN i asked if, at 76k miles, that would be under warranty. to which he said "no". i asked him 3 times. he said "no." and then told me that it's a $1,100 part + labor and would i like to make an appointment for monday. i said i'd call him back.

then i called 2 other dealers AND acura HQ. ALL of which told me that not ONLY was there no way to rule out the O2 sensor without further tests, but that the catalytic converter was ABSOLUTELY under warranty for 8 years or 80k miles (i'm at 76k, remember?)

so let this be a warning. i can't speak for the whole of the service department, but at least one mechanic tried to rip me off, either by concious effort to do so, or general apathy for me as a customer.

My Review of Acura of Riverside:
I have purchased and leased several new cars over the last 10 years, mainly Acuras, but also Audi, VW, Honda, and Infiniti. My sales experience at Acura of Riverside was by far the WORST experience I have had with any dealer. The employees working at this dealership are extremely unprofessional, uncourteous, and rude. They absolutely DO NOT know the meaning of good customer service. Although the problems that I experienced with my new car were fixed for the most part, it took several trips to the dealer to do so. Also, they would not return phone calls or follow up on any of the things they said they would. By "they", I mean several different employees, not just one. I absolutely WILL NOT recommend anyone to this dealership, nor will I ever set foot in there again!!
