My Review of Advantage Volkswagen:
Once sales remembered me coming and browsinng before, they ignored me inquiring on another vehicle since I didn't buy before. Wanted $1500 in repairs that didn't need to be done per another mechanic. Also refused to let me 23 yrs old, drive a GTI on a test drive around the block, since I wasn't buying right then and it was a HIGH performance sport vehicle and they couldn't allow extra miles..... Considering I drive a GTI right now, and wanted to experince if the new one felt better, I was upset. I'm normally not a stickler, but I don't like this dealership at all. Thank God that when I inquired in the past about getting a job there, something else opened up. I wouldn't trust them.

Put the wrong oil in my TDI, and when confronted with the issue, basically called me a liar and offered to charge me for another change. Took intervention from VWOA to get situation resolved.

Service? Advantage. Don't waste your time playing the old "pass the customer" game elsewhere. The reason Advantage has service appointments is they are usually swamped with taking care of other dealer's screw ups. See Gregory or Pete in the service department. They will take care of you. Sales? Ask for George in the online sales department. No pressure, no hassle...just plain old fashioned friendliness and a commitment to the customer. I could not buy from advantage due to an inventory shortage of a particular model (nationwide) but you can bet I will have them serviced here. I will buy from Advantage whenever I can from now on. Service is really mroe important than a simple bottom line, folks.
