My Review of Alexander Dodge Franklin:
Bought a brand new 2008 Dodge Avenger SE back in December 2007, has 10,500 miles on it. Take it in for the Tire Pressure Monitoring system recall, they notice I have bad tire wear on both rear wheels, especially the left. They asked if it was in a wreck, etc, standard questions, then the service tech stated that he saw no signs or impact, repainting, etc, which is good as it hasn't been wrecked. The service advisor comes back, states they will pay for the alignment, body shop ??, but not new tires. Clearly a manufacturing error. No rear camber adjustment on this car and no aftermarket kits available. Take it back in the following week, service advisor I had before on vacation, new advisor & tech states they cannot see anything wrong with the vehicle, and again ask if it has been wrecked, etc. I ask to speak with the service manager, he tells me they don't know what's wrong and will not give me new tires. He says he will setup an appointment with the Chrysler representative. Call back the day before the appt with the rep, told he is on vacation, will setup for next week. Seems like I'm getting the runaround here. Have contacted Chrysler directly, told to send in a written letter and they will get back to me which could take 1 month or more, meanwhile I'm running around on 2 bad tires with my 2yo & 6yo in the car. No choice, only 1 car family.
