My Review of Alexandria Mitsubishi:
I walked into this dealership with $30,000 cash in my pocket ready to buy a new 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse - several of which they had on the lot and in the showroom. After wondering about the lot for about 15 minutes without as much as a greeting from a sales person, I should have known that something was wrong. I went inside the showroom to ask about the availablility of the particular Eclipse I wanted. A manager and 3 salesmen never stopped their side conversation as they lounged in the rear of the showroom. No one even walked over to greet me. One of them yelled across the room to suggest that I buy one of their cars. I asked for a Eclipse brochure and one of them gestued toward a rack in the corner. I searched it and there was no brochure for the car I wanted. After I had to go tell them this - as none of them were paying me any attention - the manager did halfheartedly take down my name and number - supposedly to notify me when they got in a car that fit my requirements. It was as if they were doing me a favor by even talking to me.
After I sent an email to the dealership complaining about the poor service, they contacted me by phone and email to apologize. I figured I would give them a second chane to quote a price on an Eclipse. I told them where my other quotes were and the manager responded with the list price on an email quote. I noticed that they were the only Mitsubishi dealer in the DC area that actually marked up their Eclipses by $900. I felt that I was being disrespected again as they were clearly ripping people off for these cars. You would think they would go a little farther to retrieve a lost potential customer. I bought the car from another dealer in the area for much less and far better customer service. Avoid these poor excuses for professionals.
