My Review of Allison BMW:
READ THIS (OR AT LEAST READ THE NOTES AT THE BOTTOM)
people have a right to know what this dealer is really like.

The last visit I made to Allison BMW was to have the airbags in my car, which deployed in an accident resulting in no damage, repaired. After a short review of the car Allison BMW decided the airbags had deployed like they should have, and told us we would have to pay full price to have the car repaired.
Many people including the tow truck driver told me that the airbags shouldn't have deployed prior to the dealer telling me this, so I decided to call up BMW NA to get the issue resolved. BMW NA decided to have my airbags fixed at no charge to me (after we signed a no judgments release form). They gave the dealer an authorization to fix the car and bill it internally.
A few days later, my insurance company heard about the accident, from another person involved, and wanted to take a look at the car. We told our insurance company the airbags deployed, but BMW offered to fix them for free, and on that note they went to the dealer to look at the car. When the adjuster went out to the dealer my service rep refused to let her see the car, and then told her it sustained substantial body damage, and BMW wouldn’t pay for repair (I still don’t know what kind of impact his statement will make on my insurance premium). After much argument Allison said they would make the repairs as planned by BMW NA.

There's more (like that's not enough):
When I got the car back from the dealer it was obvious they hadn’t cleaned the car at all, along with airbag sediment all over the interior they still had a service number written in marker on the windshield! And all my personal stuff I had in the truck was now in the back seat.
A few days later I opened my trunk to find the front part of the cars skid plate, after looking under the car it was obvious it hadn’t replaced, it just wasn’t there, so I brought my car to an independent body shop to screw the skid plate back on to the car (and have the insurance company take a real look at the car). When I hot the car back this time I took all of the stuff out of the back seat to find a leaky pen on my leather seats! (A few weeks had gone by since the car was at the dealer at this point). I hopelessly called up the dealer and told them what happened, and my service said he talked to the tech that worked on the car, and that the tech said he didn't leave a pen there (though it was obvious he did) and that the leather was damaged to the point where I would have to bring the car into a specialty shop to have it fixed (they didn’t even bother trying to clean it off). The moral of the story is I’m never going to bring my car there again.

Review of what they did:
*Left skid plate in the trunk exposing the bottom of the engine block, steering pinion and shaft etc (I'm lucky stones on the road etc didn’t mess up my car here) - Fixed by an independent shop
*Created a big ink splotch on the rear seats - still like that today
*Asked us pay for repairs authorized by BMW
*Gave my insurance company a jugement

Feel free to email me at Sillygates@yahoo.com.

My Review of Allison BMW:
Ordered an X5 4.4 in October 2002 and paid a large deposit, was told it would probably be ready sometime in January. When I came back in early January to check on the status of the order, they told me they hadn't been able to place the order yet, and weren't sure when the order could be placed (I was told that I was near the top of the list, though). I got a refund on my deposit, went to Stevens Creek BMW and ordered the car (they gave me the tracking information so I could verify that the order was submitted), and it arrived about 2.5 months later.

My Review of Allison BMW:
I took the car in for a brake job and warranty service on a malfuncting trunk lock and radio knob.

While waiting to complete the paperwork to get my loaner car (a dirty, old Buick Century), my service advisor walks up to the desk with another customer and tells the loaner guy to take care of this other customer right away and make sure that she gets a good car. I understand good customers may get preferential treatment, but to do it in front of me shows that I just don't matter to them.

When I pick up the car, they tell me that there is nothing wrong with the trunk or radio, and they try to charge me $75 each for their time in looking at the problems. After I made a stink that these were warranty repairs, they removed the charges but said they normally would not do that because they couldn't bill BMW since they found nothing wrong. They also said something to the effect that it a bother for them to submit the warranty paperwork. In the parking lot of the dealer, I find that the trunk lock and radio button are still malfuncting.

Previously, I had tried to buy a new car there. They had no interest in dealing with me. It was either pay sticker or don't waste our time.

I will never again set foot in Allison.

My Review of Allison BMW:
I took my car in for Inspection 1, a wavering fuel guage, and squeeky breaks. They did Inspection 1 flawlessly, or so it seems. It took them 2 days to fix the fuel guage problem and it's still not 100% fixed, but it's not wavering as much. Finally, the brakes were squeeling when I took the car in and they couldnt replicate the problem. The first stoplight I was at I could hear the brakes squeel. The thing that really ticked my off was that it took 3 phone calls to figure out when my car was ready. My service guy did not call the day I brought the car in to tell me the car was not going to be ready, only after a phone call did I find out that it was gonna take at least a day. Then the next day he said he would call me in the morning, well it hit 12:00 and still no call. I finally called him and he still didnt know and said the mechanic has the fuel tank apart. So 1:00 rolls around and it's finally finished. Frankly I would try another dealer, this one took forever to bring my car out and didn't address all my needs.

The only bright thing that came out of this service visit was that the mechanic left a cordless Makita drill in my backseat. Will I return this drill? Heck no, after what I have been through, the drill is mine!

My Review of Allison BMW:
i bought my '01 525i from here. the sales guy who i bought the car from was very nice and not full of bs. he simply broke down what the car would cost and did not try to sell me any thing i didn't want. i actually already found the exact car i wanted on the lot, which was a new arrival from the previous day. they took a few days to do their certification test on the car, and it was ready for me to be picked up. even threw in a key fob from the parts dept.

i also have a '95 525i i used to service here. always got good service and a loner car. one time, however, during construction, a construction worker dropped something on the hood. allison picked up the tab and got the hood repaired right away. i now bring the car to an indy as allison is a little expensive for service.

My Review of Allison BMW:
The service department SUCKS here. I do not know about the sales because I did not buy my car there. When I droped off my car, I had this a very rude greeting from the service advisor. He gave me a big attitude and tried to blame all the problems I had with the car on the mods I did to it. Treated me with no respect what so ever. When I went to pick up my car, they damage both sides of my front bumper. I talk to the service manager, and still haven't received a call back from them to fix it. This was about a month and a half ago. I left voicemails and messages, and no calls back. So my advice is DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. Stevens Creek BMW treated me with a lot more respect and did everything right.
