My Review of Alvin Dodge:
bought a new ram 1500 from them and traded a 2 year old honda for it. the motor did not run right (slugesh) from the drive home to the phone call back to them , same day i bought it, they said to bring it in and they would look at it .they called me at work and said it was done . they said they had to replace two lifters in it . warrenty work and they charged dodge $580.00 for the work . on the way home the truck still acted the same . i looked at the motor when i got home and the dust was still on the valve covers . the did not do anything to the truck but charged for a compleated job. and by the way , i got a notice from the N.O, La. police dept. that i had a outstanding ticket there 2 mounths after i traded the car in . they took it to la. and never took it out of my name.

My Review of Alvin Dodge:
I purchased a 2003 Dodge Pick up back in August, since I walked out the door of the dealership I have had no contact from anyone. It would be nice to have had a courtesy call or information regarding services needed. I don't even have a non-negotible title and need a license plate for the front of the vehicle. Maybe this was all just an oversight but I have purchased several vehicles and always received a thank you from the dealer.

My Review of Alvin Dodge:
I purchased a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 new from this dealer. Had several problems, and, the dealer NEVER tried very hard to fix them. Truck has several safety items that needed to be repaired, but dealer refused... Told me that I just did not know how to operate. Vechile has since been re-sold 6 times, and the last time, the customer, like myself, had to perform a panic stop, but the ABS did not work, and brake pedal went hard. Truck is now totaled, so, thank god noone else will be hurt from it.... If the dealer would have fixed it or replaced it, perhaps noone would have been hurt!!! NEVER BUY FROM THEM!!
