My Review of Amity Nissan:
I was scheduled to pick up the vehicle I was purchasing at 6PM. I called earlier in the day and was assured all was on schedule. I arrived 15 minutes early and proceeded to wait 75 minutes for the sales person to arrive with my car. Each time I asked where he was I was told by Todd the "manager" he will be here in 15-20 minutes. When the car was delivered it was not complete as promised and I should have not accepted it, but my daughter was excited to get her first car. So... my mistake, I accepted the car. Now I am fighting for an extra key (it only came with one) and the brakes squeak. We returned the car to service and was told they squeak because they are not Nissan brake pads. They sold us those brake pads!! So much for the certification process they bragg about! I will continue to call until thiese items are corrected.

My Review of Amity Nissan:
I purchased a used car fro this dealership 7 months ago. Luckily, I took a maintenance contract. The engine and turbo have to be replaced. We are now in week 7 and still the car has not been repaired. Both the maintenance company and the service department are blaming each other for the delays. Only God knows when the work will be finished.
We are being held hotage until the powers that be figure it out. I will never ago buy from this dealership.

My Review of Amity Nissan:
Worst Dealer Ever!

This was our first buying car experience at Amity Nissan made it as hellish an event as possible.

I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

They tried to scam us on four separate instances:

1. Shady. Damaged the car in "prep" and told us that we had to take the damaged vehicle. We assumed the car was severely hit and they were passing it on us. We declined delivery...they were only understanding once we said we would not take a hit automobile.

2. Ignorant. Our salesman knew so little about the automobile that they weren't even cognizant that there was a $2500 cash rebate. They simply would not honor the rebate. Additionally, they tried to scam us on the APR, shifting the rate from 3.9% to 6.9%.

3. Antagonistic. Our salesman couldn't make a move without the pit boss. I'm not naive...I know they are salesman, but the "let me talk to my manager" scam is dated and time-consuming. Also, they were going to charge us $1000 to get the color that really wanted and cursed us out when we informed them would not take a color that did not want.

4. Impertinence. After numerous issues -- we decided Amity Nissan was not for us. Once we decided to part ways wish this entity, the sales manager decided to curse me out and berate me incessantly. After they reazlied that they forgot to add the $2500 rebate he called me over 9 times {after he insulted me} to apologize. Incidentally, they still were going to overchange us $1000 over the "negotiated" price even with the rebate.

I hope that a Nissan and/or state entity reads this review to understand the broken processes that exist at Amity Nissan. If anything, I hope that these dissuades consumers from working with an establishment that simply does not have the best interest of its customers.
