My Review of Andy Mohr Ford Lincoln Mercury:
Total lies and misrepresentations from day one. Claimed service had been done on truck but computer is begging for oil and service, truck stuck in part-time 4WD, didn't notice that during service? There is no tool to remove spare tire from back of truck - what do I do if I have a flat? Rude - truck barely made it to a gas station to drive home. Promise windshield would be replaced at my home, no problem. 4 weeks and still no appt. Also no title and believe it or not Mr. Huston, I could not present a driver's license and receive plates - are you going to pay the ticket when I get stopped? Amazing one manager says John Larson is over the entire dealership and the next one says he never heard of him. NO i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY WORST ENEMY - Well, maybe my worst enemy. EITHER RUN OR HAVE AN ATTORNEY READY TO GO. ALSO, TEACH YOUR STAFF HOW TO USE THEIR PHONES FOR MORE THAN PERSONAL CALLS! You maybe seeing your truck again soon!

My Review of Andy Mohr Ford Lincoln Mercury:
I would not recommend this dealership to anyone at all. I purchased a new F150 from them and was very adimimit that my extended warranty be a Ford waranty. I had the finance manager and also my sales associte in the office telling me that the paper work that I was signing was for a ford extended warranty. Everything was fine until I had an issue with my F150 and I took it in for service and was told that the warranty was not a FORD warranty and was a third party warranty. I went to Andy Morh and talked with their finance manager about fixing the mistake. The warranty that Andy Morh charged me for was 1395.00 and the ford warranty should have been 1695.00 so I wanted to pay the 300 difference to switch to the correct warranty. Andy Morh's finance manager was like no no no we will pro rate your old warranty at 50% and then you will have to pay the difference. So now instead of being a 300.00 difference it would be a 1,000 difference due to THEIR MISREPRESENTATION of what I was signing. I tried to explain to the guy that this wasn't fair as I was told I was signing a FORD warranty not a third party warrany. And he was like yeah well you signed the third party warranty so its your fault. Like I tried to tell him Yeah I did sign the third party warranty with there employees telling me it was a ford warranty. I mean how was I supposed to know the difference between the ford warranty papers vs the third party papers. I also wanted help from them as I had became disabled and just lost everything in a fire so I wanted some help from there employees to provide some clarity for me as when something very traumatic happens it can make it hard to understand pages and pages and pages of paperwork so when I told the manager of this he very offensively said your disability has no bearing on this situation. I am shocked as to how a dealership could be ran this way and they are willing to let a genuine customer walk away over their 300 mistake and I am even willing to pay the difference not asking for anything free. The only thing I can think of is that they must get a good kick back for selling the third party warranty. I hope that anyone who reads this can cut through the BS response I'm sure that they will try to put this as my fault and not theirs wich isn't at all true. Buyer BEWARE !!! Just spoke with Mike Raisor ford and was told Andy Mohr would get a kick back and better profit margin by changing the warranty to a third party warranty. Also have tried calling thereby GM and have not recived any return calls yet. Yeah what a great way to do business. FInally recived a return call from Andy morhs GM after several days of leaving messages with no return calls. As I figured I was not able to get anything resolved with them. Its funny how there finance manager and gm can make accusations of what was discussed while I was signing paperwork but then as the discussion goes on then they say well I wasn't in the office with you at the time of signing so I can't say what was discussed. Exactly they were not in the office and should not speculate as to what may or may not have been said. I was in there and kno what was told to me not them. Its very convinent and common for the response from Andy Morh to be sorry we are unable to resolve this and please call but if you do call all you get is the receptionist. This is in my opinion just a ploy to make it look like andy morh cares when truly they do not. Andy morh dealerships have a proven a lot of of negative feedback on lies, and misrepresentation so ask yourselfis this something you really want to deal with. I think as long as no one stands up to them andy morh will continue to do buisness this way. ANDY MORH IS IN IT JUST FOR THE MONEY in my opinion. They will try to fool you into spending your hard earned money there then wham the could give a care lss about you and think oh I'm sorry works it out well not for me as I am going to pursue legl action against them and hope that maybe we can all tell Andy Morh this behavior is not ok and will not be tolerated. I will keep you in formed and as the commercial goes morh for your money NOT MORE for your money

My Review of Andy Mohr Ford Lincoln Mercury:
I purchased a 2006 Ford F250 diesel with 64,000 miles on 11/21/2011 from Andy Mohr Ford in Plainsfield. One week after buying it, it started, but idled rough, and ended up throwing a Check Engine Light. I mentioned this to Andy Mohr Ford representatives when I took it in for something else (Ziebart, bought it when I purchased my truck), but they couldn't reproduce it (a salesman drove it around for a few minutes, the CEL didn’t come on for him). Fast forward a couple days and I go out to the truck in my driveway to find the batteries dead...charge it up...starts fine...drive it ~50 miles...park it back at home...batteries dead again the next day. Take it to the dealership and diagnostics show that both batteries and the fuel injection computer (FICM) are dead and in need of replacement. That is all okay at this point, I didn’t get stranded somewhere and I was able to get the truck to the dealership thinking that they would fix the issue (after all, this is just barely over a week after I drove it off of their lot), but instead they tried very hard to make me pay for it to be fixed, when it was stated at the time of sale that there was a 4000 mile/4 month warranty on the vehicle, in addition to the 48k mile/4 year powertrain extended warranty I purchased with the truck. I was NOT happy, especially since I decided to purchase my truck at an actual Ford dealership rather than an independent dealer or private party because I expected better post sale support if there were any issues. I ended up picking the truck up from the dealership on 12/8/2011 with it still unfixed and purchased the parts (two batteries [$89 each], FICM repair from FICMrepair.com [$225 with 1 yr warranty], and a thermostat [$53, including a gallon of coolant]) and fixed it myself for significantly less than the price that they wanted to charge me after “significant discounting” (they originally wanted $1800 to replace the batteries, computer, and an injector, their final offer (before I took the truck home) was $750 for the batteries and the computer, no injector). After the batteries and the FICM were replaced, the injector appears to be fine and the truck runs great.

I posted this review to DealerRater.com after my experience and within a week Chris Huston (the general manager of Andy Mohr Ford) contacted me and asked how they could make it right. Long story short, they paid me back for the parts I purchased to fix the truck and compensated me for the time I spent working on it. I am very pleased with the service that Chris Huston gave to me, and he assured me that he sat all of the offending parties down and made sure that they knew that this was not the way to treat their customers. I hope that the parties involved will learn from this experience and Andy Mohr Ford will live up to the expectations of their past, present, and future customers.

Thank you for your business and taking the time to review our dealership. Again, on behalf of myself and Andy Mohr Ford, I apologize for our miscommunications. Brandon, I want to personally thank you for your time and patience. As I mentioned in the beginning, your satisfaction is our #1 goal. I glad we were able to get things worked out. If it were not for good customers like yourself, that call us out on our mistakes, we wouldn't be able to improve our business. Than you again. Happy New Year!

My Review of Andy Mohr Ford Lincoln Mercury:
This had to be the worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership. We live over a hundred miles away so we called the dealer before we left to make sure the vehicle in question was still there. Of course they said it was, so we said we'd be down in 2 hours. Once we arrived at the dealer, they said that the vehicle had just been taken by a customer 10 minutes prior and wouldn't be back until the next day. The next day came and we called the dealer, just to be told that it wasn't back yet and that the salesman would give us a call after their meeting to figure out where the vehicle was. He never called back. So we called the dealer and we were told that the salesman would call us back in 5 minutes. Once again, he never called. Day 3, we called again that morning to see if the vehicle had showed up yet. We were once again given the run around. The first salesman told us that another couple was looking at the vehicle at that very moment, and that he would give us a call back. Once again, no call back. Then we got told that the vehicle was still not there. Day 4, we called them in the morning once again and was then told that the salesman would find out where the vehicle was. Later that evening we finally did get a call telling us that the car had been sold at the auction on day 2. We wasted close to a $100 in gas driving to see a car that never existed, not to mention four days. In four days, we never got the same story from any of the salesman there. I would definately not recommend this dealership, nor will I ever do business with them again.

My Review of Andy Mohr Ford Lincoln Mercury:
we went to this dealer to purchase a used car.The salesman started out friendly got even friendlier when we decided to buy two. As the day went on and the negotiations continued he was no longer friendly. He tried to rush our purchases because he had a dance recital to attend and ended up passing us off to another salesperson to finish the deal. while we were in financing getting all the paperwork done we were told the cars were taken to be cleaned and fueled up. That was a lie!!!! When the cars came back they were still dirty and empty. one of the cars had large chunks of bird poo all over it. We were then told we don't fill up cars which is not what the original car salesman had promised, but he was gone to his dance recital so no way to verify. Needless to say we had purchased two dirty and empty cars. After all that the paperwork on one of the cars was completely wrong. We questioned this and told there was also a price discrepency we were brused off and there was nothing we could do because all the paperwork had been done. We were the proud owners of two filthy cars with the incorrect paperwork!!!!!everything eventually got fixed except the price difference of course.Andy Mohr is one of the larger car dealers but he is not the only one thank goodness....i will never purchase from this dealer again!

My Review of Andy Mohr Ford Lincoln Mercury:
Had preapproved loan prior to looking. Test drove used truck. Husband gave driver's license only - no info given (where we worked, etc.) Need Purch Agrmnt faxed Cr. Union. $4000 over blue bk. Played games (we have someone wanting to buy the 05 Blue Truck - did this 3 times - truck's been sitting there since March. By Sat. called us back "that truck is still waiting for you..." We r in our 50's. This game was played in the '70's when we were young. Could hear clicking on phone (someone listening in). Also 4 times rec'd ltr in mail from creditors. The truck was overpriced $20,898. We bought a great truck w/NO stress from Carmax $17K. Newer and less miles. New tires, bed liner, etc. IMCU cut us a check Fri. a.m. and pu truck by 12 noon. Carmax was the best experience, w/NO hassles. PS called Andy Mohr to stop running credit checks for this crappy truck. By the way, it's still sitting in their lot!

My Review of Andy Mohr Ford Lincoln Mercury:
On Dec. 28, 10 I took my 2008 MKZ in for oil change, was told car needed new water pump. On Feb 17, while driving on 65 car shut down, was first told it was crank pin, then told it was damaged valves, left same timing chain on car, left old pistons on car, basically patched up because of warrenty work. Picked car up on March 9. Car was dirty on the inside with grease on the headliner. Was told on March 9th they also repaced axle shaft???? Pins on front end wheel well was broken when I picked up. I have been a true Ford customer since I was 18, 32 years. Next car which will be soon probably will never be a Ford. My Father also retired from Ford Motor on Shadeland Av, Indianapolis In. Purchased car from Andy Mohr Plainfield In. this is the worst experience I have ever had with a Service Department. Donna Moore Trafalgar Indiana.
