My Review of Auto Stiegler:
I took my 06 G500 to Encino dealership for service. My car is still under warrenty, and the airconditioning system smelled when turned on. The dealership kept my car for 3 days without offering me a loaner car, charged me $180.00 for that 10 minute service that should have been covered by Mercedez and the warrenty. there is a bulletin within mercedez that states aircondiotioning systems should be covered by warrenty since it is an internal system problem and is not a wear and tear issue. I believe Encino dealer ripped me off and the service person was rude and unhelpfull. I rate this dealer ship a -0 out of 10.

My Review of Auto Stiegler:
I'm a Colorado resident and wanted a clean, non snow SUV. I stipulated many times I was not willing to pay Calif sales tax as CO is less and I'm not a resident of CA. I was told "No problem" many times by Calvin Sacks so I bought a Cert.Pre-Owned 2002 CL 320 in cash. Eric said he would send the pink slip after it cleared CA DMV. I drove to CO and waited and waited. Finally I called Eric and was told by him that they would not send the pink slip until I paid $1500 in Ca Sales tax. I told him this was never part of the deal but he told me "too bad." I asked to speak to his boss but he said there was no one higher than him. Over a barrel, I paid but used Mastercard. I waited until I received the pink slip and then disputed the charge with MC and won. Mastercard lawyers are stronger that Steigler. I wrote letters to John Steigler as well as the sales manager but never got a response. So use a credit card and keep all your documents. And never used Mercedes Benz Encino. My Benz days are over.

My Review of Auto Stiegler:
I went in for an alignment at my 3000 mile checkup. I got the car back 3 days later with the steering wheel offcenter. It was right of center. Took it back after 2 days and had them redo the alignment. I got it back and this time it was to the left of center. Took it back the same day and spoke with the service manager and had him to a drive along with me. He agreed that the steering wheel was not straight and promised that he would personally oversee the alignment. I got it back the next day and the wheel is still 2 clicks to the left. I just gave up. I am taking my car elsewhere. The advisor that I used had some attitude like I wasnt good enough for their dealership. I even bought the car there! Such crap. Good luck to anyone else that uses them.

My Review of Auto Stiegler:
Like so many other consumers in the computer age, I do most of my homework for major purchases over the Internet, reading reviews and going over technical data. I test drove the car in question (2005 SL500) at a local dealership, then contacted the various Mercedes Internet Managers through e-mail, stating the car color and options I wanted. The rest of the process was handled over the phone for the final price. On every step of the way, "High Pressure" was the order of the day, until I contacted Auto Stiegler. Within ten minutes I had the price I wanted, along with very useful information and recommendations, without one bit of sales hype. In fact, the professionalism I experienced throughout this entire transaction is unequaled. A few days after taking delivery of the car, John Stiegler Sr. called to thank me for my business and to inquire if I was satisfied with every aspect of the sale. No wonder they have been in business at the same address since 1959.

I am actually looking forward to my first service visit of which I will review after the experience. From a sales standpoint, this IS a FIVE STAR DEALERSHIP!
