If you are looking for a used car, I recommend you go here first. After visiting numerous dealerships in the Portland area, my wife and I are so happy we found Autonorth. Upon arriving Scott greeted us in a genuine way and his friendliness, knowledge and professionalism were second to none. An incident caused by a miscommunication by the previous manager was rectified in more than a fair way by new manager Marc Blake. The total experience was the best we have had when purchasing an automobile ever (and I'm talking close to 20 vehicles)! When the time comes for purchasing another used car, there is no doubt that we will begin at Autonorth in Portland.

I went to many dealership in Portland and Auto North stood out far above the rest as been friendly and professional! Both Marc and Scott where not "pushy" and very honest. I am very happy with the car I got from them and will look there again when my wife and I need to replace our other car.

I had spent time helping my 18 1/2 year old son find a newer year used vehicle he could afford and hopefully find financing for. He had a pretty good sized down payment, but even so, no dealership I'd checked into would accept him for financing on his own, (he has a great paying job, but no established credit) without a co-signer. While on my lunch break one day, and looking at a large dealership without any luck and feeling like we'd never find the right car and financing opportunity, I drove by Autonorth. What caught my eye was the better condition, cleaner looking used cars on their lot (compared to many other small used car dealers I drive by and on occasion have stopped into). There was a clean little 2007 coup that looked like something my son would love and it had a price on the window within his price range. I decided to stop in, and today feel so fortunate that I did! A very friendly salesman by the name of Scott came out to ask if he could be of help. Without going into to much detail, I felt very comfortable speaking with him and learning more about the car etc. No pressure! I told him I was pretty sure my son would love this car, but told him of our troubles finding financing for a car in his name alone. Scott told me he was pretty sure he could help with that issue. As promised, my son and I came back the next morning. My son test drove the car with Scott and fell in love with what became his new car within the next 3 days!!! That morning Scott started the process of finding a willing bank. Autonorth has a good relationship with a number of credit unions it seems. One in particular looked at my son's individual situation, realized he was a good risk and accepted him after interviewing him. With our determination to meet the credit unions requirements (direct deposit, insurance evidence etc) and the efficient and good phone/email communication between Scott, the bank & us...my son ended up with a very fairly priced car and a good loan. Autonorth put two new tires on the vehicle and mechanically inspected the vehicle. They are paying for an alignment as well, because we noticed the vehicle tugging a bit after the new tires put on. They work as a team...Jay and Mark step in to assist when Scott is not available. It has to be one of the best car buying experiences I've ever had, hands down and would highly recommend them to friends and family and purchase another vehicle there should the need arise again! Thank you Autnorth, I really appreciate your help. You made something that's been difficult, easy and a pleasure. Other dealerships could learn a lot from your team skills, friendly down-to-earth style and approach to selling cars.

Went to Portland to view another dealers extensive VW selection, and upon arrival found most of the vehicles to be much less than advertised, vehicles were dirty and in rough shape. Had driven by AutoNorth on our way through and decided to check it out. There were 2 very clean VWs on the lot, 1 Jetta that was exactly what my daughter was looking for. Marc and Jay were very helpful. Marc searched FAR and wide for a bank to finance my 21yo daughter with good but limited credit, going so far as take on a new bank in Bangor(our home town)and all the work and paperwork that entailed. The guys were VERY respectful and helpful to my daughter, and talked with her, not at her or myself. The crew, mechanic included went the extra mile so she could drive home in her first car that she picked out, financed, and signed on the dotted line. Thanks a million!

This place surprised us. It all started with a phone call from us to Mark to ask about a truck we found on-line. We are located over an hour away from the dealership, but Mark's personality got us to hang up the phone and drive over an hour to test-drive the truck. it was worth it. I recognized the dealership as we drive up as I had passed it many times and noticed what a good/attractive inventory is always there. Mark was busy with another customer but acknowledged us and had the truck brought around for us to see. Jay showed us a few features about the truck. These two guys worked great together to answer all of our questions. The next day when we returned to buy the truck, we were again surprised by the great service. It was sooooooo NOT like the other dealerships. There really was no bull or gimmicks. No harrassing salespeople. We actually had fun buying a truck! We had very low expectations for such a small dealership but now we want to return to get a car. We plan on having Mark find our next car! Great service!! Highly recommended!

Our experience with AutoNorth was terrific! Marc Blake gives superior customer service. He took the time to listen and understand our needs and timeframe and helped narrow down our search, arranging multiple test drives (always with a smile). Marc’s knowledge of used vehicles is impressive and his willingness to share his expertise was truly appreciated. i will never shop anywhere BUT auto north for a used car! Marc was SOO helpful and was determined to find a GREAT first car for me! when he finally got one in (an Infiniti I30!) he gave me a call. when i went to see the car it made a funnny noise starting ip but ran GREAT! i complained about the small noise, and once i was aproved for the loan he brought in a mechanic of my choice to completely REPLACE the old starter and put a brand new one in so i was happy! they are awesome at Autonorth and i would recommend it to anyone!

My husband and I went to AutoNorth looking for a used vehicle that would, effectively, pull our boat and be within our price range. What we found with Mark
was phenominal customer service skills. First, of all he is so great to work with.
Mark listened to our needs, went through great lengths to find us a vehicle that would match our needs, and did all of this without any pressure that often times
we have experienced with other dealerships. We will continue to do business with Mark and highly recommend him to any person looking for a great vehicle and price!!
