My Review of Autohaus Volkswagen:
Hands down the very worst. Stay away, that is if you can locate them. These guys are real scum bags, and they are by far the worst dealer I have ever come across. You might find your salesman on Americas Most Wanted. None of their phone numbers answer.

My Review of Autohaus Volkswagen:
My girlfriend had to sit in the lobby and listen to the distguisting receptionist swear (numerous F bombs apparently) and argue with her sig other on the phone about their past due bills that needed to be paid at home. Then the service manger said, and I quote "The owners are never here and running this place into the ground. Why should I care if you get it done here? We'll be closed in a few weeks anyway." She called me and told me about it, I had her immediately ask for the keys and cancel the service. I had to go in the following week to get a spare key made and programmed. I had a simular experience with said receptionist, who appearently didn't get those bills paid and was having a simular argument. She then proceded to yell at me about the dealer check I was using to pay for the key. (I bought the car from Memphis, TN and they couldn't locate the spare key, so he had me "go to my nearest dealer" and the dealership in Memphis would send me a check for the key.) He made the check out to Victory Volkswagen and coordinated everything over the phone. When I gave it to "the receptionist" she flipped out and told me she refuses to take an out of state check. I then had the parts manager (great guy) take the check and all was well. PS They charged $163 for a spare key and programming!

My Review of Autohaus Volkswagen:
I had read several disheartening things on this site but decided to go in because it is my local mitsubishi and vw car dealership. I found it to be quite the opposite. I was treated very well and actually enjoyed being there and buying my new car. The price was right, for my trade in, they offered me more money than other dealers in the area, dealers that i wont mention because i am not that way, and it wasnt all about them selling a car to me. they were friendly courteous and i had some great conversation while i was there. i will go back and i will recommend people. Dont believe all the horror stories there are always two sides to every story i guess and you dont want to miss out. trust me!!! THANKS CARL AND THE REST OF EVERYONE. P.S. MY SON LOVES THE FOOTBALL YOU GAVE HIM.

My Review of Autohaus Volkswagen:
Autohaus volkswagen of Harrisburg now called Victory auto group. Never buy anything from this dealership their sales team changes weekly right now they have no sales manager or general manager. I have had massive problems with my recalled 2004 passat. Even under warranty the dealership has tried to upsell me every step of the way. I recently took my passat into the dealership after my trusted car shop did an oil change and told me I have an oil pan gasket leak as the car has only 29,000 miles on it its covered under warranty. I took it to victory they told me no problem I signed the paperwork to fix the problem under warranty. Ed the service guy tried to call my house twice (with no answer) Ed desided on his own to fix the car without my authorization. Victory says the problem wasnt the oil pan gasket but a worn out oil pan plug washer a $.10 item. They charged me $90+ for technical diagnostic work which I didnt authorize. I talked to PAT the controller as shes the acting manager she told me to pay the bill or I will not get my car back. I can prove the gasket was the original problem because my repairman replaced the oil plug washer and gave me my old one and showed me while the car was on the lift where the oil was leaking from. As he made zero money on the oil gasket problem he has nothing to gain nothing. I believe Victory (autohaus) is trying to make up for huge sales losses by upselling and overcharging in their service department. Either way $90+ for a $.10 washer common thats just a ripoff. I would highly recommend staying away from this dealership.

My Review of Autohaus Volkswagen:
I took my car Mitsubishi in for servicing because it was hard to start in the mornings. I was told it needed a timing belt, a water pump and a tune up. They made repairs two weeks later it was doing the same thing. I took it back and they said I needed a head gasket replaced. I told them to make the repairs. I picked the car up on a Thursday evening after work, drove it home and parked it until the next morning. On the way to work the following morning it stop on I81 in traffic. It was towed to Autohaus/Victory motors - they said a pin came out but when I picked it up the engine was making a lot of noise. They refused to make repairs said it was my fault because the car had so many miles on it. I sued but the court ruled in their favor. I am out $1300 + including attorney fees and filing cost. They're unethical and unfortuantely for me the courts aren't much better.

My Review of Autohaus Volkswagen:
I wouldn't recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. I brought my car in (2001 VW Beetle) March 2003. I was in a car accident and went around to VW dealerships in the area to find a dealership who would repair and buy my car. I spoke with NJ, we agreed on a selling price of $8,500. After MONTHS of asking about my car in June they say it's been done since May. They say they're fedex-ing the paperwork over to my house (I go to school in PA, with the car, but I live in CA) and to mail the check. We mail the check from the insurance company. Weeks go by trying to contact them, we hear nothing. They now say they will not buy it. After more time of arguing they STILL today March 3rd, 2004 have my car. My fiance went in to pick it up, as I am out of the country, and the battery was dead, they charged me for a new batter and installation. Well yesterday he went again to pick it up and now it sounds awful and is definately not fixed. We called VW HQ and they say they cannot do anything. I don't know if and when I'll get my car back and whether it'll be fixed and it's been a full year.

My Review of Autohaus Volkswagen:
I went to one of their "tent sales". With my bad credit, even though their ad said bad credit, no problem, they told me to get a co signer and come back. So I did. I brought my dad along. Then when we got there, they said I still couldn't get the car even with my dad co signing but that he could get the loan in his name and I could just make the payments. Finally we agreed. When I told the salesman I only had $100 to put down, he was very rude. Wondering why I only had $100 if I was debating about a new car for several months. He said I should have been able to save more. (As if he knew my financial situation). And the fact that my 1990 Eclipse had just gotten out of the shop for a new alternator and battery. I was so upset when we left, I was in tears. The Lancer only car with 3 floormats. What happened to the drivers side?? So I decided to order a new set from the dealer. I decided I didn't want to fight the Harrisburg traffic, so I called and asked to have them UPS to my house. They said ok and that they should arrive in a few days. A few days go by, no floormats. I call to find out why and they said that they had lost my address.(Even though I had ordered a part from them once before, my gas tank "door" wouldn't open, and I had to order that part as well) So I gave them my address, they said they would send them out Monday and I would get them Tuesday. Tuesday came, still no floormats. I call again. He says, Oh there here all boxed up ready to send out. I told him after trying for a week to get my floormats shipped to me, that he could forget it, I was tired of dealing with these people. I wouldn't recommend this dealer to my worst enemy. They're rude, inconsiderate liars. I love my Lancer, or should I say my DAD'S Lancer, but would never go to this dealer again.

Stay away from these guys, this is the most dishonest dealership in the world, they will give you the worst deal and make it sound good. If your not buying and just looking forget about a test drive, you will feel like crap when you leave. Giesala(sp?) the AUDI rep. is the ONLY honest person in the dealership. The service dept is supurb...stay away from all the sales people...they recently changed the dealership name to Victory Auto Group...still same horrible, dishonest sales practices...never go there...safe alternatives, Cumberland Valley Motors for VW, York Mitsubishi, and Autohaus LANCASTER.

My Review of Autohaus Volkswagen:
I will recommend these guys with reservation. I have mostly dealt with the service and parts department. However, I have interacted with a member of the sales staff on occassion looking at new models in the showroom. I find the guys in the service department to be very friendly and at least a couple may even be VW enthusiasts. They usually fix things right the first time. However, I think there were a couple of not to honest repairs made to my corrado, but I can't really prove it...just a hunch based on the circumstances. The lady I dealt with in the sales department is German and a VERY nice lady at that. The partd department is pretty good as well.
