My Review of BMW of Fremont:
What a joke!! Classic Bait & Switch operation. Went in to look at a "dealer demo" 3 Series. I know what a "dealer demo" is: it is a vehicle that has been driven by a dealership employee or factory representative and has never been titled. These vehicles are then sold as "new" with adjustments being made so that warranty is not adversely impacted. The vehicle I was shown was actually a USED VEHICLE and was NOT a "dealer demo", the car was a USED CAR and was portrayed as a "dealer demo". What a freakin joke!!! When I started asking about the "in service date" (i.e. when the car was first purchased) for warranty purposes and a possibility of an extended warranty, I was "blown off" (basically treated like a schmuck) and left the dealership. I wouldn't buy a lug nut from this crowd of clowns!!

My Review of BMW of Fremont:
I had brought my car to replace a window weather strip, as the dealership was close to my work. One warm afternoon on a lunch outing, my door would not close!

I had to use whatever I could find in my car to facilitate a grip to the door. Fortunately, I was able to utilize the nylon straps off of a back seat organizer. In desperation to have the problem fixed immediately, I slowly crept along the local route to the dealership, hazard lights on the entire 5mile drive.

When I arrived at the dealership, the Service Advisor told me it appeared the weather strip was not secured properly and drove the car to the service area to have it fixed. He returned 15minutes later and the door closed fine.

A week later, during a shopping trip, the same problem occured! My door would not close! So, back to the dealership. This time, it was concluded that the wrong size "edge protector" was installed. So, it was best to replace the entire weather strip...except they did not have it in stock and must be ordered.

Overall, the entire ordeal had been very disappointing and frustrating, to say the least! I decided to send a letter to the dealership, but have yet to receive a reply.

My Review of BMW of Fremont:
Terrible!

Strung me along for 7 days when I tried to buy a new BMW and pay cash. Actually arranged for delivery to me after all this runaround and delay, then told me the car was actually sold the day before (when my salesman decided to take a day off).

Vi Quach, the salesman I dealt with simply could care less about working a deal out and delivering a car. I had to bascially demand that he come back with a price that they would sell the car for!

Look, I am an easy going guy, I don't play games, and I am quick to work a mutually acceptable deal. Just give me a bottom line price ok? But this experience, out of 12 different new cars that I have purchased in my life was way beyond disrespectful.

The sales manager apparently could have cared less about how I was treated based upon a phone call I made to him to express my dissatisfaction after everything blew up. (He didn't bother to call me)

Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealer at all costs.

Total disrespect of my time. Cost me money when I arranged for transfer of funds in my bank account so that I could pay them after they told me they would sell me a partiucular car, and then they backed out.

See BMWofFremontSucks.com or BMWFremont.com for more details.

As you can see from comments below, this dealer needs to get cleaned out from top to bottom. vote with your wallet and shop elsewhere.

A salesman at a different dealer provided me a total opposite experience, and I can HIGHLY recommend him: Danny Andrade at BMW Concord CA. Straight shooter, and worked a deal for me in about 60 minutes (not 7 days). Even though he didn't have the exact car I wanted he was excedingly helpful, polite and respectful and if I choose to order he will certainly get my business.

My Review of BMW of Fremont:
Let's just say that the if it was not for BMW being such a great car the dealership would be closed!! I would think paying for a 75,000 car the customer service should exced anyone's expextations. This is not the case at Fremont BMW.

Basically they think they are doing you a favor. I would recommend BMW of Mountain View, more miles but way better service.

I would hope that the dealership in Fremont would consider the ratings and fix or listen to the people that have them in business. The customers.......

Tried to lease a 328i Coupe at the advertized payment from BMW website and the Northen California BMW website. They were over $100/ month higher.

My Review of BMW of Fremont:
I have been dealing with BMW of FREMONT (autonation?) for about five years now, and I am fed up with their service and their sales department. I leased a 2002 BMW 745IL which had so many electrical problems I had to return the vehicle and get a new one (2003 BMW 745IL); there was a point when I was taking that car in once every other week. The 2003 model was better, but during the regular service intervals I had to deal with the service department. Long waits just to process paperwork, and work promised at a certain time took longer than usual...almost always. They use national rental car for their service loaner, and I can't believe that they always give me a KIA when I turn my 745LI for service. Never have I gotten a BMW loaner for my BMW (when it turned into autonation). The last straw now is that I just returned my 745 because the lease had ended. They charged me $2100 for wear. $400 each rim, and $200 each tire, minus $300. There were some scrapes on the rim, and the back tires were worn in the middle due to over-inflation (there the one's "service" that put air in the tires) and the front tires were not worm (I had purchased new front tires last year), yet they still charged me. When they find out that you are not re-leasing a car from them, they will charge you! I did not speak to the guy named Sammy (he appeared busy with his friends in his office) in charge of leasing, but overheard the conversation he had with the person who was inspecting my vehicle. He sounded rude, and wanted to make sure he got every nick and cranny (as if I was cheating them)! Isn't normal wear and tear included with your lease payments? I have leased several Lexus vehicles, and have never went through this "process". I just handed the lexus dealer the keys, and they took care of the rest. NEVER WILL I EVER PURCHASE OR LEASE AT BMW FREMONT AGAIN, and judging from the remarks from other people, so will many others. BAD SERVICE, and BAD LEASE PROGRAM.

My Review of BMW of Fremont:
will never go back to BMW of Fremont again (I guess they got bought by Autonation or something like that). My wife went there to get a light bulb (front headlight, non xenon) and asked a service adviser if they can help her install it. The guy wanted $45 for putting the bulb on, claiming that he needs to remove the water tank? YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. I usually had my car service there, and but will never go back there again. I been to other 2 BMW service center in the Bay Area and none of them charge me for changing a light bulb. I told my wife to take to bulb home, and I replaced it in 5min without removing any water tank (after reading a post about how to change it).. BAD SERVICE from BMW of Fremont

My Review of BMW of Fremont:
I recently had some troubles with my 2001 BMW 325ci so I thought I’d bring it in for an inspection after calling numerous times to schedule an appointment (they kept putting me on hold then hanging up) I finally got through and scheduled an appointment for the following week.

Appointment time comes along and I figure I’ll do on my lunch break and since I had an appointment it wouldn’t be too bad. 4 hours of waiting later (my boss wasn’t too happy about that) I finally was helped. They service manager was a nice guy and the inspection didn’t take too long, but I really could have done without the incredible long wait.

My Review of BMW of Fremont:
This service advisor Kenny Lampton didn't give a crap about his customer. I was scheduled for the software update due to the flashing passenger airbag indicator and the MSRP alarm reprogram.
The results are: software was updated, but the airbag problem still remained; the alarm wasn't re-programmed.
I brought the car back for the alarm reprogram. First, he said my car didn't have any alarm installed (according to some dumb service technicians). I showed him the alarm functions (siren sound, flashing, door trigger, ultrasonic sensor trigger), then he said my alarm wasn't an OEM alarm. I told him that mine was bought and installed from Pacific BMW with the right BMW part # for E90 model. He re-scheduled 2 days later for me. When I brought the car back, I had to wait more than 40 minutes and no one called me in while 4-5 other customers after me were already called ( I saw that in the sign-in sheet). I was so mad, took my car back and drove off this dealer. I bought my 2006 330i at this dealer and paid over $42 grands with this kind of customer service. I'll be buying another BMW next month for my brother from some other dealers. I will never buy or have any kind of service from this dealer again ever in the future.

My Review of BMW of Fremont:
BMW of Fremont has the most terrible service and attitude. I got 30,000 mile maintenance service notification letter from them and brought my car there with prior appointment. After I got there, they refused to do warranty service because the previous service was ONLY 11.5 months ago, which they said isn't long enough and the oil change light does not turn yellow yet. The advisor also said that even if I paid for oil change, they still would not reset the maintenance light per BMW's rule. The worst part is that when they did my previous warranty service (20,000 miles), it was not an issue at all (the oil change light was green). Now they make it a big issue. Knowing my warranty is about to expire in a few days, they recommend me to buy extended warranty. Why would I buy if I will never ever bring my car there again. They are just cold, cheap and discriminating, especially against Asians. I bet a bunch of people feel the same way. I've heard too many complaints about that dealer already.
