My Review Of Babylon Honda:
Three years ago, my wife and I found ourselves in a difficult situation. We had recently purchased our first home, had moved out onto the island, and had had our first child, when out of the blue, our car just bit the dust--the cost of repairs far exceeding its value. Not in any kind of great financial situation, we found ourselves in need of two cars! We went to Babylon Honda and John Liggio on the recommendation of a close family friend. We couldn't have ahd a better experience. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted, but John helped us with aspects of the decision making process we hadn't anticipated. He was so genuine, so open about the positives and negatives of the options we had before us--whether to go with the hybrid for the commuter car, whether to buy or lease on the second car, knowing we'd need a bigger car a few years down the line. It was the sort of guidance you expect to get from a friend "on the inside". There was no sense of having been upsold or redirected; it felt like someone was helping you pick out the car you needed, and the financing the you could afford. When our lease was up on the Accord (I went with a Civic for my commuter car), we had another baby and a lot more stuff. We went right back to John Liggio and Babylon Honda. In the years since, I've never had a second thought about our first purchase or or lease. This time we went with the Honda Odyssey. Again, the experience was like before. No shell game, no high pressure. There's a real feeling that you're sitting across from a good person in a good shop and making an important, informed decision about the car you're going to buy. It sounds simple, and I think that's how it should be. I would absolutely recommend going there and checking it out. Ask for John Liggio.
