My Review of Baranco Pontiac GMC Inc:
I always fell like I am imposing on the service department, they never make you feel like they're glad you're there. I have had my 2002 Trans Am at this dealer so many times I've lost count. At 14,000 miles they rebuilt the engine due to piston slap, they had the car for 3 months. I would visit the dealer weekly, and the car was up on the rack with cobwebs all over it. They always told me they were waiting on parts. All of the parts taken out of the car were scattered all over the floor of the shop with candy wrappers and empty coke cans. They told me that they were placed all over the shop to aid the mechanic during reassembly. When the car was finished, I came to get it, the A/C wasn't working and the parking brake was not hooked up. I left it again. During this time I had complained of the differential making noise, I was told " you are imagining that sir", well today the car is back there having (for the second time) all of the rear end bearings and one of the axles replaced. There have been many other things like this. My BIGGEST complaint is there lack of communication skills, they never call you about your cars status, or just a friendly update. You drop the car and it disappears into their shop for days, then you have to track them down for an update, which sometimes is almost impossible. They have had 3 service managers in recent past, the newest one is really trying to improve things.
