My Review of Barry Nissan & Volvo:
Unfortunately i made the mistake of trying to give my business to a local dealer instead of going to a professional one! I was given a quote over the phone but was basically laughed at once i arrived at the dealership.Eric kept speaking in a foreign language of some sort(Chinese, i believe) and seemed very deragatory. Brian was one of the sleeziest individuals i have had the unfortunate pleasure of crossing paths with in the buying process and basically made a mockery of the whole situation laughing it up with his goons. I tried to reach the owner of the dealership but he never returned phonecalls and I was told he was always at a different location but was always redirected. I am starting to question whether or not he exists. I took my business took a different nissan dealer about 20 miles away and purchased a brand new maxima and a murano for my wife. This dealership(Mastria)was helpful, appreciative, and most importantly very professional.

My Review of Barry Nissan & Volvo:
My wife and I have both leased/purchased vehicles from Barry's, an 04 Armada and 06 Altima, The sales people were nice, until we drove off the lot. It appears once they have got your money your left blowing in the wind. When we first purchased the Armada the service department was pretty good, but since then there has been a steady decline in all aspects of the service department. Lack of customer service and confusion seem to be a big problem. It appears that some personel have changed and not for the better. If it ain't broke don't fix it? Well, you broke it.
My wife and I deal with the public everyday in our lines of work (banker/law enforcement)and if we treated people the way we have been treated by Barry's staff, we would be unemployed. Needless to say, if you don't like what your doing, go do something that makes you happy and allow someone that can handle this type of job, show you how it is done.
Remember, for most people a vehicle purchase will be the biggest investment they will ever make. It should not be stressful and they should be treated with dignity and respect. Isn't that how you would want a banker and a police officer to treat you?
Get better and get your dealer certification (back?). We will be going else where from now on. Thank You

My Review of Barry Nissan & Volvo:
Horrible dealership. If it wasnt for the fact they had the exact car I wanted (model, year, color, etc...) I would not have bought from them.

REFUSED any request I made. Kept mentioning what a steal I was getting and refused to remove a dent on the car, refused to remove the dealership sticker they put on it. Oil was dirty and low and read this: Gave me car with an EMPTY tank of gas. Nothing like driving off with your car and have to find the nearest gas station just to get home.

Car did not have inspection sticker either, had to get it myself.

Avoid.

My Review of Barry Nissan & Volvo:
THE MOST unorginized dealer I've had the misfortune to deal with! When I asked to speak to the service manager about the problems I've been having regarding a gas smell (went back 4 times!!!) the manager told me there are plenty of other dealers who can listen to my complaining! After four visits I wasn't even apologized to, I was treated like a pain in the you know what! It was 2:00 in the afternoon and that woman was staggering and smelled of booze! DON'T EVER take your car there!

My Review of Barry Nissan & Volvo:
I recently purchased a Nissan Murano from this dealership, and it was a very pleasant experience. I inquired online, and not only were they they the first dealership to get back to me...they were also the most friendly, professional, and helpful. When I did visit the dealership they made the process of buying a car very easy. I would definitely go back there in the future and recommend them to all my family and friends.

My Review of Barry Nissan & Volvo:
Sucked me in to the dealership with a bogus quote, would not honor the price given (so-called sales associate's "mistake"). Insulting offer on a reasonable trade-in. Total waste of my time in the end. I would never go back and would not recommend them to anyone!

My Review of Barry Nissan & Volvo:
Not enough help at the service desk. I called three times just to make an appointment for an oil change, and each time I was told the service department was to busy to take my call and could I call back or leave a message. When you go in to drop off your car for service, there's only one person at the desk and there is always a line. When I go back just to pick up my vehicle, I still have to wait in this line just to get my keys and cash out. This one person at the service desk is bombarded and cannot handle the volume, and yet there are several workers just hanging around in this area doing nothing to help. Believe me, there is no service in Barry's Nissan service department.
