My Review of Bart's - Columbia City:
I bought a truck there the price of the truck was high but they gave me a good trade in price to make up the difference experience was good till I signed the line and bought it. After I bought the truck I had some things that needed fixed that I knew about when I bought it and we had agreed to have them fix them and they did, but before I dropped it off I had a few questions and I played phone tag and when I would leave messages for Matt he was supposed to call me back and never did, and the same happened with another employee over a title. I was told when I bought the truck they were going to have the truck dropped off to me and they could drop it off at my work or home or wherever I wanted them too. I had to call and and find out what was going on when and where they were dropping it off on the day I was told they were going to drop it off and Matt told them to drop it off at my house without ever asking me so I had to leave work early to get the keys. Also the Lady I called and asked when they were dropping it off said she would call me when they left with it so I would have an hour and a half notice and she did not do that they called me 15 minutes away. Also when I received my truck back the guy that drove it back smoked in it so I had to clean ash out of it. The biggest deal is they took 3 weeks to send me my title and I was supposed to receive a check to pay the difference of tax between ohio and indiana which I need to do to transfer the title and get my plates and they never sent me a check with the title and claimed they did, and that argument went on for 2 days of phone tag and switching me to different people and people not calling me back, then said they were sending it out once they found it in their building I was supposed to get it in 2 days and they forgot to send it out, but this is the one good thing they did was that lady apologized and sent it next day the only time someone apologized for their mistake. Once I received the check I only had 4 business days to transfer the title and switch my plates. I WAS TOLD BY MATT WHEN I BOUGHT THE TRUCK THAT THEY WERE MAKING NO MONEY ON THE TRUCK BUT THE REASONS THEY DO THESE DEALS IS TO HAVE RETURN CUSTOMERS. WHEN YOU HAVE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU WILL NOT HAVE ME RETURNING AS A CUSTOMER. OVERALL VERY BAD BUSINESS THIS WAS IN COLUMBIA CITY

the rating i have applied here is due to the fact that bart's is the first place that has worked with me since recovering from cancer and the subsequent financial problems that creates - they gave me a fair trade-in and they matched me with a vehicle that worked for me that i could afford and they (most importantly) supported me and prompted the credit union that hesitated initially when they looked at my credit history - they stood with me - few people let alone businesses do that these days - thank you

WOW researched on line and found a vehicle I was interested in. Put in a request and Chris Fish followed up. He helped me understand what I was able to buy in my payment range. Chris called back when he said he would with all the information promised. Then we decided on a vehicle to test drive. It was a 62 mile trip one way for me so I wanted to be sure that if the I liked the van we could make a deal. As promised I showed up was greated and treated well by all. Awesome everyone there worked to make the deal happen. I am very happy. Chris done an very good job of explaining things and the deal was done. Thanks

My Review of Bart's - Columbia City:
Worked with Vinny and Rick. I had researched my purchase on line. We had purchased a vehicle from Barts Car Store in the past and had recieved the same great service that we did this time. We arrived at the lot and were meet by Vinny. He asked if we had any questions. He said the keys are in the truck and to bring it up front if we would like a test drive. Upon looking at the truck wnet inside to talk with Vinny. We advised of the payment we were looking for and what we owed on or trade. He asked us some questions and took some information. He wrote up a deal and presented to Rick. Rick and Vinny then procede to get us a better deal than we had originally asked for. Far eceding our expectations. Once we decide to purchase the truck we moved to a back office to complete the paperwork in private with Mark. mark made everything easy to understand and follow. He helped us relax and not have any buyers remorse. While in the middle of completeing our transaction, Rick advised that he was able to get us a better interest rate from another bank. This was amazing. Even though we had already agreed to a deal he kept working to find us the best deal for us. We will be heading back to Bart's Car Store for our next and all vehicle purchases in the future. The care that Vinny took in the selling process. The care that Rick took in the making the deal work and the care that Mark took in the financial process was second to none.
The confidence that these men gave us in choosing the correct vehicle for our family was outstanding.

I went here with a trade in. We agreed on a price for my trade and I had picked out a vehicle I fell in love with. I live 70 miles away And so I called to make sure I could be approved for the amount. I was approved and he told me my rates. I was to bring my trade and all I had to do was sign papers and I could take home my new vehicle. I got there and they changed their minds and wouldn't take my trade. They said the vehicle I chose was "to nice" and I needed to pick something else. I told them I was leaving with my vehicle or the one I originally came for. They refused to honor thier end of the deal so i left with my car. They wasted my time and gas to go all the way there. They were extremely rude. I will never step foot on this lot again. I have already warned everyone I know to stay away from them. Worst customer service I have ever had!

My Review of Bart's - Columbia City:
After spending a couple of weeks checking out dealerships in Fort Wayne, IN, I stopped at the Barts. They were friendly and had a couple of cars that I wanted to look at but were in the process of repairing. I then went to check out a car I had seen on-line at the Columbia City store. Matt met me and after looking around I settled on a 01 Grand Prix. During the test drive I noticed that the wipers didn't work. Now at the other dealers in Fort Wayne I had seen problems such as check engine lights, electrical problems, etc and was told that the car goes as is and they would not check the problem out or fix it. At Barts, they will fix any problem. One of the cars at the Fort Wayne store had a check engine light and was being sent to their mechanic for a check. Anyway, Matt and the good people at the Barts Columbia City store not only repaired the wipers without raising the price of the vehicle, but gave me a great deal also. This is the 3rd vehicle I have bought from Barts. They have always been upfront and had the best deals. Check them out, I don't think you will be dissappointed.

I would like to say thank you to the guys at Bart's for a wonderful experience. I have been to other dealership where I felt like I was being attacked by "sharks". The guys at Bart's made sure that I got what I like and stayed in my price range without the pressure. I would definely recommend Chris Fish and Bart's Car Store to anyone that is looked for a GREAT used car!!

Went one eveing and no salesman would come outside to help. Went back next morning and had to go to store for help. Took truck on test drive and returned and took another on that had bad brakes. WHen I got back Justin had driven my vehicle and was ready to deal on truck had to have someone else go for a drive. Why not both go at same time??? Did not meet on price and left. Not recommend going back.

My Review of Bart's - Columbia City:
I bought a car and in less than 24hrs the check engine light came on. I took it back to them and they cleared out the code and then lied to me about what the code said. Within the first week of owning the car it overheated and I needed new spark plugs. The power steering pump started squealing and my coolant was leaking into my engine.
