My Review of Beaverton Chrysler:
I took my car in for a 30k mile checkup. My first mistake was to not request the Chrysler recommended 30k checkup. What they did was add a bunch of extra services they believe should be done. What should have cost around $200-300 was around $650. I quickly dropped the fuel system cleaner to bring the cost back down to a reasonable level.

I also asked to have the two recalls addressed. I reviewed the paperwork when I got home with my car and found no mention of the work. I called the next day and found out they forgot to do the recalls. The service rep's suggestion was to just bring the car back in. Great idea. They want to inconvenience me again to address this problem without offering anything. How about a free oil change? I really get irked when companies make mistakes and don't try to make up for them. He was just very matter of fact about the mistake. Oh well.

The last thing that bothered me was the lack of a courtesy shuttle. When I called to make the appointment, I asked if they had a shuttle service to take me back to work. The person there said yes. When I asked the service rep about it, he said they don't, but they will call you a cab and give you a $9 voucher. Well, cabs aren't that cheap. I only had to go about 8 miles or so, but that ended up costing me another $7. Great shuttle. They should have mentioned that on the phone.

The people were friendly when I was there. I guess that's something.
