My Review of Berglund Chevrolet Jeep:
I wanted to keep my 84 olds. it had carb. problems. I took it two less expensive auto repair shops prior. they installed, replaced. some parts, but the auto still stalled out after about 2 months of running ok. when the problem occured again, stalled out. I decided to take to a delership, they charged more but they would find the problem. I took it to berglund, they replaced a fuel pump with a fuel pump that I had gotten at at Advance auto and the detail of what they did was

install owners fuel pump,

adjust carb.

now the car ran good again for about 4 months. then I had problems again, so I had it towed back to Berglund. this time they said the carb was bad and needed tobe replaced at a cost of approx. 1100 dollars. I towed the auto to a friends house, took the carburator off, shipped back. and again, Carbuerator exchange cleaned the carb out but this time mailed back the FUEL FILTER, which was plugged up again. Again, they said the carbuerator was filled with junk getting into the carbuerator.

There was nothing wrong with the carbuerator, I sumit that berglund replaced the fuel filter and they did something more than adjust the carb. there was nothing wrong with the carbueraor but the was junk getting into the carb and the fuel filter was plugged up again thus not allowing fuel to get into the carb. or just trinkle in.
I paid Berglund $395. in may 2005, and again in sep. 2005.
Instead of locating the problem, they merely put on the diagnostic machine or what ever they call it and reported my carb was bad and needed replacing.

A ERRONEOUS DIAGNOSIS WHICH IF DIAGNOSED PROPERLY, THE PROBLEM COULD HAVE BEEN REPAIRED. ALSO, THE CAR STALLED ON A HILL AND I nearly was in a wreck.

I HAVE TRIED TO GET RESULTS THRU EMAILS BUT THEY ARRORGANTLY HAVE IGNORED ME. I will file complaints ever where i can, run ads in local paper to see how many others have been taken by this outfit and ultimately take them to claims court.

My Review of Berglund Chevrolet Jeep:
I made an appt for recall and warranty work and they kicked me out. The service manager SCREAMED at me in front of my 5 yr old grandson. He said I was using profanity because I referred to the dealership as "the Chevy Store". I wasn't even talking to him, I was talking to my grandson! They refuse to do warranty work on vehicles not purchased from them. This was a 2002 Avalanche with less than 36K miles, still covered by GM. I was told to take it back to New Hampshire where it was purchased, they say it is their right not to work on cars not purchased there. What do you do when you move 800 miles? don't go to Burgland!!!
