My Review Of Bertera Chevrolet:
I have a 2002 Impala that I had brought to Bertera Chevy a month ago for the first time to try and diagnose a recurring issue with my lights that wasn't happening at that time. Unfortunately, they were not able to get the problem to duplicate although they made a valiant effort and they did not charge me for the effort, which I was pleasantly surprised by and grateful that they didn't charge me. I remembered that kindness today when I had developed a problem with my car last night that still was happening this morning where it didn't seem to want to move very fast even though the engine was revving just fine and I was afraid I might have a transmission issue. I called and spoke to Jeoff Hoyt, who was very friendly and told me that if I could drive the vehicle there now, then they could take a look at it immediately for me. I limped it there, left the car to be diagnosed and asked Jeoff to call me when they found something out. Within 15 min. of arriving home from dropping it off, I got a call from Jeoff telling me that my car needed to have the catalytic converter replaced on it. He offered me two options, the second of which was an after-market part from Napa that if he could get it there, he could have the vehicle repaired before they closed. I gave him the go ahead and an hour later, I received a call saying it was all fixed and had been tested and was ready to be picked up. We discussed the price, and I found the total of the bill to be very acceptable. Twenty minutes later, I arrived to the dealership, and I must pause to say that as I walked in, all of the employees I encountered were very friendly and said hello to me, which I thought was very nice. The manager from the sales floor, who I am sorry to say I didn't catch his name, came in to help Jeoff process my checks and was very helpful and nice to me. I thanked them all and I do wish them a very Happy Thanksgiving at Bertera Chevrolet! I cannot remember the last time I was able to call a dealership, get my car in on the spot, have it diagnosed and repaired in such a short time for such a reasonable price. You made my and my husband's lives much easier as he does most of our repairs and with Thanksgiving around the corner, we were depending on this vehicle to be available to us to travel with, and thanks to the wonderful care that Jeoff Hoyt and the Service department showed me and my vehicle, our plans will not have to be changed.
