Sales agent, Dan Eaton misrepresented product, Dealer, Mike Naughton refused to answer my letter(s) of complaint (one by certified mail) and Barry, Service Advisor did not follow up on my (written) service request. What else is there? Henry White

My Review of Big Mike Naughton Ford:
Ironically this story has a happy ending.
I bought a Taurus (mistake number 1) from Mike Naughton's used car lot (problem number 2) which ended up being one of the worst purchases of my life. The car would bog down without warning and simply shut off at intersections. So I returned to their service department (problem number 3) and the reception to me and my crippled car was never good. My concerns began the moment I pulled up into their 'staging lanes'. I mean, just how dependable can Fords be if they need a service department that has an entrance like a California theme park? The service department is filled with smug jerks (which goes nicely with the slimy sales staff) and they all seemed to enjoy watching customers writhe under their coarse dispositions.
Anyhow, this car stranded me so many times I lost count. I personally had to replace the exhaust system ($1500) and a dozen other items contributing to another $3200 in parts and labor. My extended warranty ($1400) already covered the replacement of the motor (which I don't feel actually got replaced), but the cost for someone making less than $25k a year all these costs were crippling.
Fortunately the last time the car broke down was in front of a Toyota dealership and I've never had any problems ever since....

My Review of Big Mike Naughton Ford:
The dealership was great and they went out of their way to find the exterior color with the options on it that my wife and I wanted. The Issue we had is with their finance department. They sent our information to the wrong credit union, one I did NOT have any account opened with nor signed any paperwork with, and that CU processed our loan anyhow. In order to move it to the proper CU we were going to get charged almost $100 and Mike Naughton was not very helpful, basically telling me that it was now my responsibility to handle. I thought that was very unprofessional.

Moral of the story: great service, great car, just make sure they are sending your financing paperwork to the right place.

Reason for Visit: Service

I recommend this dealer: Yes

My Review of Big Mike Naughton Ford:
Surprising excellence service. Much better than the service I got at my Honda dealer. Only downside is that the service is very expensive--but all dealer service is expensive.

I have been taking my vehicles to them for service work and warranty work for years. No bad experiences. And their service department is open on Saturdays!! And the service is especially quick on Saturdays--very few people bring in their vehicles on Saturday for some reason.

Warranty service is done quickly and without argument. I had to have the headlights of my Mustang replaced three times. And this dealership had no problem . The three replacements were caused by fogging of the headlight assembly--nothing to do with the dealership workmenship.

I brought my used Focus into them and they treated me like a bought the car from them new. I was very impressed.

The service order writers get your original complaint down with accuracy on the order and will keep you informed/ of what is happening with your vehicle after you dropped it off.
