My Review of Bill Cook:
I just bought my eighth new car from this dealer. I never realized that buying a car could be so problematic. They failed to return my leased car to the leasor until three+ months after I traded it in--only after I phoned them because I'd received a delinquency notice. The title/registration wrongly identify the car. The paint job was faulty, but they insisted that I take delivery. The finance jerk spent a very long time trying to pressure me into buying thousands of dollars in their rip-off schemes and low-balled me on payment. I should have walked. Everything in me was saying walk, but I stayed. Judging from the other reviews here, I have company. Drive 50 miles. Do what ever it takes. Don't buy a car here. I'll never dare to service a car there.

My Review of Bill Cook:
Bill Cook imports in Farmington HIlls Mi is not a good dealership. They sold me a Certified Pre-owned Audi Quattro AWD with bad tires that were 3 different sizes, clearly it was not certified at all. The dealership did replace the tires at no cost but replaced the tires with again the wrong size tire. I am working through the BBB & Atty General to recover the cost of replacing the tires, because they are not competent to service the vehicles they sell. Drew Cook the namesake of the dealership refused to stand behind the product. I had to have an oil change (because it was not done in the certification that was not done) while on a conference out of state, Drew refused to pay the 87 to the Audi dealership I took it to even after stating to AUDI USA that he would pay for it but did say I could pay for it now and then to bring in the receipt when I got back and he would reimburse me. Be warned.

Reason for Visit: Service

I recommend this dealer: No

My Review of Bill Cook:
I brought my car there for an ongoing repair. They told me my warranty was over by 2 weeks and they can't do anything for me anymore. I would have to pay for everything and they couldn't get the Volkswagen representative on the phone for 2 1/2 weeks. After that time I had to go there and ask for the status. They wouldn't even call me. I had to pay 220 Dollars to get my car back without even doing a thing. They suck a lot. I will never enter their shop again. I bought 2 brand new cars there and that's the service you get.
I also heard a lot of complains from my collegues at work (BOSCH Corp.). I am sure Bill Cook will not be a recommended dealership anymore for this Company.
If you don't want any frustration with dumb people stay away from that shop. There are much better ones in the area.

Reason for Visit: Service

I recommend this dealer: No

My Review of Bill Cook:
I wouldn't recommend this dealership, however it is one of only a few in the area, so there's not much competition. The rating is based on multiple visits over the past several years where the service has been abhorrent. However, there appeared to be improvements at my last service visit -- new personnel, quicker response time, increased friendliness. The service representative was straightforward and honest about the estimate and final price, kept me informed of the status, and had the service completed by the end of the day.
