My Review Of Bill Jacobs Chevrolet Cadillac:

We just purchased our fourth vehicle from James Wolff - and we live 7 miles from a Cadillac dealership in Schaumburg. Why drive 50+ miles to buy a car? Because of James! He is great to work with - knowledgable, friendly, easy-going and honest. No pressure, no games. Just a really great guy at a great dealership. Take a drive and see James - you'll be glad you did!!

Both Chris and Stephen were very friendly and honest, straight forward, but most important - not pushy Salesmen. I indicated what I wanted immediately upon meeting them and both showed an interest and dedication to meeting my wishes through the entire experience.

My Review Of Bill Jacobs Chevrolet Cadillac:

We had a wonderful experience with Stephen Durham. He was very knowledgeable and easy to speak with. He went to great lengths to ensure our experience buying a new car was positive.

However, to our great displeasure, the check engine light on our brand new 2013 Malibu went on 6 days after purchase. We then had to take the vehicle to a local dealer because Joliet is too far away to drive with the check engine light on, and we didn't want our car towed that far either. The car was in the shop for 4 days because the transmission control module was shorted out, we were told. We did not have a good experience at Sunrise Chevrolet when they promised our car would be back to us in 3 days, and when we called to check on our car we either received an attitude from the man working with us or he had "went home early for the day". Sunrise Chevrolet seemed to put our car at the end of their to-do list because we hadn't purchased it there. They even asked us why we didn't take it back to Joliet as if they didn't prefer to have our business.

My Review Of Bill Jacobs Chevrolet Cadillac:

Chris called me with an offer to trade up to a new vehicle. He was very straightforward as to the reason for the offer as well as the numbers. He was delayed when I came in to discuss it, so Steve helped me out. They were both extremely courteous, efficient and helpful. I really don't like the vehicle buying experience, but they made it truly enjoyable. No arguing, no pressure - just honest answers and a lot of effort to make the deal better than I had thought possible. I look forward to working with them in the future.

My husband and I just purchased our 6th vehicle from Lil Joe, over the course of 15 years or so... Joe is a class act, as are all the staff at Bill Jacobs!!! We enjoy our experiences there from start to finish and Joe knows how to find out what we need each time we visit and keep us coming back for more! We've referred many family members and friends to Bill Jacobs and will continue doing so for many years to come! I can't imagine buying a car anywhere else! We <3 Bill Jacobs Joliet and Lil Joe!!!

Bill Jacobs of Joliet provides OUTSTANDING customer service! I just recently went to trade in my vehicle, which was a 2009 and most dealerships were turning heads and not even trying to help me. I ended up walking out with a 2012 Chevorlet Malibu thanks to James Wolff and the rest of the sales/finance department here at Bill Jacobs. Every associate I ran into would offer a beverage, to answer questions or keep me updated throughout the entire trade in and purchasing process. James Wolff definitely met EVERY criteria of sales that I wanted plus more. I will DEFINITELY refer every one and any one I know, or may not know to this dealership. Hands down best service I have ever had. THank you all again!!!!

Both Mindy and Dennis worked to locate the vehicle I was interested in purchasing. Mindy locate one initially but it was sold. Mindy locate a few others for my consideration and ultimately secured one I was intertested in purchasing. Both Mindy and Dennis spent an appropriate amount of time with me both prior to and after the sale. Over the years both Mindy and Dennis have supported my interest in new vehicle purchases. I give Mindy and Dennis high marks for customer interaction.

I had the best experience ever at Chevy of Joliet. Josh Casey and Raul Rosario went above and beyond to help me leave the dealership with the SUV i wanted at the right price. I'm so thankful for there dedicated service to helping me out. I will recommend them to my friends!

My Review Of Bill Jacobs Chevrolet Cadillac:

Having bought several vehicles in my lifetime, I can honestly say this was THE WORST DEALERSHIP I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. The only person with any professionalism was the receptionist who initially answered our call.

When we got to the dealership we were greeted by the salesman Raul, who then took us for the test drive of the 2012 Colorado we were looking to purchase. I had recently had an accident in my 2011 Colorado and knew what to expect from this Colorado. During the test drive we told Raul several times that we had had a 2011 Colorado, but he either didn't care or just ignored us. All he kept doing was trying to pitch the truck to us. I finally stopped talking to him and let him continue to ramble on.

Once we got back to the dealership we began talking $$$$. I know that it is expected to haggle during this process, but every time I brought something up Raul would turn to my husband and either avoid my question or continue to tell us what a great vehicle we were getting. His condescending attitude was a bit much so we finally told him our bottom number. It was at this point that he said "you know they aren't making these trucks any more, so this might be a collectors item one day". Really!!!!!! Then how is it that we were able to look at the 2014 models online - the Colorado is being retooled and that is why there are no 2013 models. Now we are not car salesmen but even we knew that!

At this point we got up to walk out, and of course that is when the circus begins. They bring out the Sales Manager, the Finance Manager and anyone else they feel can convince you to but the vehicle from them. I have previously worked for a car dealership, and was a loan officer in a bank. I had shared this information with Raul with the understanding that he would not try to play games, as I felt I knew what was we wanted and were asking for was not out of the question. And during the course of our initial conversation I even showed him on my cell phone the NADA site I was using to verify what I was asking for.

After another 10 minutes of what was now fast approaching an argument, we finally thanked them for their time but declined their offer. As we turned to walk out the Sales Manager said "put this truck in the back because they aren't going to find something better, they'll be back to get this one from us".

Several days later, Raul called me to see if we were coming back for the truck. I politely told him we had chosen to go in a different direction. Two days later the Sales Manager called to ask when we would be back for the truck. I told him I had already spoken with Raul two days ago and that we WERE NOT COMING BACK. He began to badger me about what had we bought, where had we bought it etc. It was with much patience that I told him we were moving in another direction.

If at any time my husband and I had felt like we were being treated with respect we might have felt differently about this dealership. As it was were treated unprofessionally, sarcastically and condescendingly by every individual we had to deal with at Bill Jacobs Chevrolet. Not once did they listen to what we said nor did they ever take into consideration anything we asked from them.

I would NEVER recommend them to anyone, not even someone I didn't like!
