My Review of Board Ford Inc:
I filled out a "build your new car" online questionnaire for a 2006 Mustang GT. I received an email from Liz Ramirez at Board Ford in Whittier saying she had my car. I called her right away, around 7:30 p.m. We discussed the exact features and options on the car and she quoted me a figure and said she had that exact car on their lot, and could I come tonight to see it. They close at 9:00 p.m. I live 15 miles away and I said I would come in the morning at 10:00a.m. I called her two more times that evening to go over the exact equipment and the exact price before tax and license. Each time she confirmed that the car had the exact equipment and color that I wanted and she confirmed the exact price. We agreed again to meet at 10 the next morning. I arrived there at 10:00 with a checkbook in hand and she wasn't there. Another salesman showed me a different used 2006 GT without all of the same features. He claimed "my" car was sold last night. (HA! HA!) A little while later Liz arrived and I asked her where is the car she told me about. She sat me down in an office, and when I asked about the car I had discussed with her, she called in her boss and she left. Her boss (didn't get his name) sat down with me and did some figuring on his computer and told me the car was $2,000 over the quoted price. When I objected, he said "my" car was sold last night. (Between 8:30 p.m. when I finished my last conversation with Liz, and their 9:00 p.m. closing time, yeah, right!) So he tried to sell us another car for more money. I accused him of using illegal bait and switch tactics and I left. After this bad experience I would not recommend this dealership to anyone else.

My Review of Board Ford Inc:
The gave us the run around and made us promises they couldn't keep. I would much rather have heard the truth that they couldn't locate the vehicle I wanted and that it would take a while, rather than having them promise to have the vehicle to me on a certain date and at a specific time, when they were not sure they could do such a thing. Making emply promises time and time again just makes them seem incompetent and straight liars out there just to get your business. They care nothing about the customer or the customer's convenience.
