My Review of Bob Dance Hyundai:
My husband and I drove 3 hours to visit this dealer, after seeing an ad for the car we wanted and then calling 3 times to verify the price. The television ad said that 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe's were $13,900. I called once and they said they had a bunch of them and they were $13,900 plus tax, tag and dealer fee. Great! Then, we looked them up online and noticed the dealer had some other complaints from people, so we were a little suspicious, and my husband called again. They said yes, the price is $13,900 plus tax, tags, and dealer fee of around $689 and they have about 40 of them on the lot, all colors. Great! Before we drove the 3 hours there, we just wanted to make sure, so we called one last time to verify. My husband asked specifically, "are there any other stipulations? Is there anything else that would make it cost more than $13,900?" (we had read that there were tricks like once you got there, you might have to be military to get this pricing, or some other requirement) The answer was no, the price is $13,900 plus tax, tags, and dealer fee. We talked to Chad each time on the phone. When we arrived, a salesman came out and we told him we had talked to Chad. He said Chad just answers the phone, and he took us to look at one of the Santa Fe's. On the way, we asked him again about the price. He said, well the price includes $3000 cash or qualifying trade in. So, there WERE stipulations which they flat out lied about over the phone. When we pointed out that they lied over the phone 3 times and should have told us about the additional $3000, he brought over a newspaper ad that showed that info. We told him that that was not the ad we saw (it was a tv ad) and that they had 3 opportunities to tell us over the phone, which we asked SPECIFICALLY about, and they lied about it. They didn't apologize nor try to fix the situation in any way. We left. Now we will know to ask, "are there any cash or qualifying trade in requirements to get that price?" However, there could be other stipulations (like you have to be able to balance on your head for 3 hours) that we won't know to ask about. We will not give any business to this dealer, no matter how great the deal is; but if you do, good luck!

My Review of Bob Dance Hyundai:
We went to Bob Dance Automotive after visiting a few other dealers in town and getting the run around on price and I must say it was the most plesant experience I have ever had buying a car. Rob Walker understood what I was looking for in a vehicle and found one that me and my husband liked in the payment we wanted. So far I love my Hyundai and would recommend them to anyone!

My Review of Bob Dance Hyundai:
We went to Bob Dance because their TV commercials advertised 2008 Hyundai Santa Fes at a low price. We found a used one that we liked so we sat down with the salesman to talk price. Now don't get me wrong, the salesman was great. It was when the manager came into the picture that they lost our business. We were asked to sign a paper saying that we would purchase a vehicle from them that day if we came to a reasonable price. They told us that they wanted to make sure that we weren't wasting their time. We signed it as we intended to purchase a vehicle that day. They valued our trade in and we talked about what payment range we wanted to be in. We kept asking how much they wanted for the Santa Fe but they wouldn't give us an answer, they just kept going into another room and coming back with higher monthly payments than what we were willing to do. I finally said that we were no longer interested since they wouldn't even tell us how much they were asking for the Santa Fe and they accused us of lying by signing the paper saying that we would purchase a vehicle from them that day. I felt that they were wasting our time by not telling us the purchase price. Now I cringe everytime I see their commericials on TV.

My Review of Bob Dance Hyundai:
Our Sales Rep harped on his survey (and our review of his performance) so much that I wish I could simply do an awful survey. However, I plan on being totally honest when I get the survey and telling the people that our experience was/IS awful but our sales rep was just your typical salesman... He was pushy, acted like he was our best friend, and changed his story on several issues many times.

Last night, two days after our "purchase," he left us a voicemail that we need to return to the store and sign different loan documents-even though we completed all paperwork on our initial visit! Shady? I should say so! I have a feeling we may end up returning this vehicle-if they plan on increasing our rate (which is really the only reason to have us return and sign paperwork).

When we were leaving the night of the sale I asked why our gas tank was about 1/16th full-he responded that he didn't have a gas card. I couldn't believe we were being sent home after a $26,000 purchase with basically no gasoline in the tank!

The night we purchased the vehicle, we were looking it over and something very similar to scratches were all over it-upon closer inspection we noticed that it was simply a terrible

My Review of Bob Dance Hyundai:
Took my Elantra here when I first moved to Florida, that was a huge mistake. Just needed an oil change and the tires rotated and it took them three hours while they made me wait in their terrible waiting room! They don't care about people with Hyundais since they are mostly a Dodge dealership. Next time I needed the oil changed and tires rotated I took the car to Bill Bryan and they only took 30 minutes including washing the car which Bob Dance didn't do!
