About Brown Honda

We started out in 1982 with a vision to be our area's leading automotive facility for sales and repairs. Today, we are well on our way. With a beautiful facility in Charlottesville,VA we are dedicated to the same procedures and ideals that we were back then. A small business attitude with one clear motto: “You’ll Love the Service.”

Brown Honda, located 10 miles down the road from the University of Virginia, has been locally owned and operated for over 25 years. With over 250 employees, we pride ourselves on providing excellent service.

We represent some of the top manufacturers in the world and have hundreds of New & Pre-Owned vehicles on-site. While choosing your new vehicle will always be an exciting & straightforward experience at Brown, when its time, we make servicing your vehicle just as easy. With state-of-the-art service facilities, each location serves as a one-stop repair and maintenance shop.

We also offer a wide range of amenities for you to enjoy, including wi-fi internet access and a coffee café. In addition, our shuttle van provides courtesy transportation to local area destinations for all Brown customers. We are very excited about our newest addition, a 22,000ft. collision facility, specializing in collision repair & paint correction.

My Review Of Brown Honda:

Brown Honda provided me with high quality service and a smooth, stress-free purchasing experience.
My salesperson, Steve Young, was very friendly, patient, qualified my new car needs and steered me towards the right vehicle for me.
The price I was offered was competitive and they also gave me a reasonable trade-in for my used vehicle. When I found a slightly better internet price on the same vehicle from another area dealer they matched it. I am very satisfied with my new car purchase and look forward to having the dealer provide quality service and maintenance.

Joey is friendly and helpful. He understood our needs and helped us get a better price. In fact, I also went to Brown Toyota to test drive 2013 Camry. I felt much better with Joey in Brown Honda.

Mr. Young made the entire process smooth and painless, willing to work with us for hours until we were comfortable with every step of the process. All the employees were very friendly, and our daughter was taken good care of in their play area the entire time.

My Review Of Brown Honda:

From the moment we talked to the internet Honda Representative Robert Fons, he was very professional. He was the first person I came in contact with. He turned us over to Scott, who gave us the chance to know about the trading conditions, prices, discounts, etc., explained all the manuals of the vehicle. He offered us the chance to buy accessories for the car. He also spent about 30 minutes showing us all the features inside and outside of the car and test drive. He asked us if we had any questions then we met our old sales person Bob Smith so we decided to deal with him instead of Scott .We traded our 2011 Honda CRV for 2013 Honda Pilot I got a call from Bob four days after we bought the car. He asked how everything was going and if we had any questions. He said to call him anytime if we ever had a question or concern. I was very happy with the service and price that Mr. Robert Fons and Bob gave us; the attention of Scott, and the great service of Jason Rosales, very efficient and kind at the time of the final closing, he went extra mile to help us to understand terms and conditions of our financing.

My Review Of Brown Honda:

Took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. Mechanic observed dark fluid in the brake system and the power steering, both were changed with my permission at an additional charge. Hopefully, their observations and preventive maintenance will save me future headaches. Everyone is extremely polite and helpful, and take time to explain the problems they find to my satisfaction. My car is 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour, which I do enjoy driving. Would recommend them with no hesitation...

My Review Of Brown Honda:

Very aggravating (and concerning since it was brake related) pulsing noise coming when brakes were applied - seemed like probably the rear ones. Correctly diagnosed by Brown Honda as warped rear disks. Too thin to resurface. They replaced them for what I thought was a quite reasonable price and the problem was cured. Great job!

My Review Of Brown Honda:

I have been bringing my cars back to the Brown dealership for years. Only rarely can I bring the car in for an oil change and not spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars to repair things I did not know were broken with our cars. The cars run fine, but whenever I bring in our Hondas, the service department always finding things that haven't broken yet, but that they recommend having replaced or re-done. Often I am told that Honda is recommening, through their computer, some repair or service, often based on the mileage. However, my one Honda has very low mileage based on how long I have owned it. I must have bought the two most defective Hondas in the world, cars that require thousands of dollars worth of preventive maintenance every year to keep running. I suspect that, given the costs of the dealership's fancy, new multi-million dollar building complex - probably a good idea to build during the go-go economy before 2008 - and the weak sales during the last five years of recession, the dealership is trying to make up for loss sales revenues in via the service department. This would also serve to push customers into buying new cars if they can convince them that the cars they currently own are on the verge of collapse.
