Sales department is very helpful and generous, however the service department is rude and inconsiderate. Long story short I was sold a Lemon and its been sitting in the service shop at Kia Burlington for the service department is rude and inconsiderate. Long story short I was sold a Lemon and its been sitting in the service shop at Kia Burlington for 2-3 weeks, nobody at Kia thought to notify me that I would be receiving a new engine covered under warranty until I called them for the 3rd time a week into it being there. I was initially told the engine was on the way and had been ordered on that call. Well…. That was a great sounding lie because when I called a week later to check on status of this they said the engine was on backorder and they somehow cant give me an ETA on when the engine will arrive to the shop. This is very peculiar to me in itself, but the fact the lady(s) I spoke with on the phone have nothing helpful to say is shocking. At least if you’re gonna be unhelpful maybe you should perhaps change the tone of your voice. Its not my fault you don’t enjoy your job. And when I asked if I am able to get help for a loaner or rental even they told me they don’t do any of these things which is contradicting what I have read online about your warranty policies. It’s cool though I’ll just struggle as a working student and walk around for miles everywhere I have to be for the next month or two like I’ve been doing. Don’t buy here if you have other options. I had the best buying experience here. I was treated like a person/friend not a $ sign. My sales rep Dery Santos was amazing. Not only did I have a terrible experience buying the car, it now has major issues. I took it for its 1st oil change, and it came back that it needs $4000 to repair. First of all, I would like to thank Gary, Joe, and Pete for a fantastic overall experience at Burlington Kia on Saturday. Gary was knowledgeable and very honest every step of the way, which I genuinely appreciated. Breath of fresh air. He worked with us on a fair deal that worked for everyone involved, and made sure we didn't leave any stone left unturned throughout the entire buying process, which was as smooth as ice and relatively stress-free, unlike most trips to many dealerships. Burlington Kia ended up being the diamond in the rough we were looking for all along, and I feel very honored to have had such a wonderful all-around experience with Gary (our car dealer), Joe in sales, and Pete in finance. Gary made sure we checked out all of the EV6 options that they had available. We were very impressed with the quality inside and out. We went for a few test drives, just cracking jokes and talking a little about life. He really knows his stuff, and he's been in the business for a long time. I respect that, and as a customer who has to trust the process, I really appreciate that. Anyway, as I’ve highlighted, my personal experience was just absolutely phenomenal all around, unlike any I've had over the years in and out of dealerships around the NJ/NY area.
